Quick post as i dont have time to explain..

I'm on to something and it falls in line with my idea of how juice flows..

Simply put.. PUT A FREAKIN STRAW in the cart! 3 16th in dia.. i'll have to make sure but it may be 1/4 inner diameter.

You dont want it to fill to the sides of the cart.. just the middle but big enough to hold some juice and the plug.

NO NEED TO CUT THE STRAW! No V shapes or anything like that. Just the straw small enough to have room around it and just above the inner lips/ledge.

Now grab a slug if you have one.. cut it to about 3/8ths long. So the one i'm using is cut 3/16ths wide by 3/8ths long.

Fill the straw with juice. Now take the foam and shove it the straw just so it holds. Add a drop or 2 to the top of the plug so its wet.

Insert it into the atty and puff away.

This is for HV only.

I'm using brand new charged batts and a good 3.0 ohm 510 atty.

last night i could'nt hit it for nothing as i had the burnt taste.

Now i can take as long as a hit as i want and its all good!

Air flow! Air flow!

The cart bottom is not flat so air can pass around the bottom and up the sides of the straw.

You can even drip on top of the plug to fill cause theres no air pressure.

lol.. someone out there with a HV device 5/6+ and give it a go! I'm chain vaping away trying to kill it and its just laughin at me. Damn thing dont even get hot!

EDIT: just empied another one and this time i just dripped right on the plug and i got 10 drops in before it pooled on top!

Again.. if the cart is air tight you cant drip threw the plug and it will just sit there on top and pool up. If theres an air path, you can just drip away till full..

So with that evidence, the straw/plug WILL wick as needed and quick enough to keep up with HV!

P.S. Using HV juice from Nhaler.. so its made with VG and thick.. Have not tried this with thin PG juice.. may leak too much and might have to make a thicker plug.

I'm not sure I'm understanding you on this.Fill the straw with juice and put a plug into the end of the straw? Won't the juice leak from the bottom of the straw and then come out the top because if the plug is partially in the straw, at the size you say to cut it, it won't fully plug the end of the cart. Please clarify.

Just a side note eclypse. I always try every cart mod that comes out. Sometimes they work for a while but in the end, I'm a big believer in the blue foam. I always come back. It's not perfect as both you and I know, the vacuum created causes problems. I see how this version would remove the vacuum but I must say (haven't tried it yet) that I can't understand how it won't leak.

Also, you know what sucks about 6v vaping? You just can't go back to 3.7v:lol:

Yeah.. just a matter of time for the foam. Hell, its only made for liquid and for it to flow so.. heh.

I hear ya on the HV! Almost wish i never heard about it so much and never bought it! lol.. Cant go back now. Gona have to deal with these new issues and going threw alot more juice! hehe.

Well I must not be understanding this way of doing it cuz I just dumped a cart full of juice into the atty!

Wow thats wierd?

You just added the drops to the straw right? Straight staw, no cuts?

Inserted the end of the plug into the straw so the juice will have to flow threw it?

Thick VG juice or PG? I only tried VG so far.. 2 different flavors, one light and one dark in color.

No cuts in the straw. I used PG/VG combo. Like I said before, what's to stop the juice from leaving the bottom of the straw at the mouthpiece end and running along the outside of the straw and then leaking out because the plug, being in the straw, doesn't fully seal the atty end? Wow, that was a run on sentence!!!

Still going over here.. Every chance i get, i'm trying to burn the atty up but cant.

I did have leakage the last time as i only took one puff off of it and stood the Xhaler up. Figures.. Could be just over filled it or juice was dripped around the sides of the straw.

I did not get a chance to play with the plug size at all.. just cut an end off a slug and slapped it in there to plug the straw.

More adjusting later on.. but for now, i'm vapin HV all day on this! lol.

I love it eclypse! It is quick, easy, cheap, reusable, and no loose fibers... Super awesome mod! I'll have to try playing with ways to load the foam all I've done so far is just stick a piece in there... (with the VG) it seems to work great and doesn't leak. I haven't even tried the lptb method as I just started vaping a few weeks ago, this just seemed quicker and easier. I washed it just forgot to mention it in the video.

DARN IT!

lol just loaded one up without washing :-x

it just arrived from eBay , the blue foam, i just loaded one up to go to work with, looks like it'll be a fail. lol

No big deal.. we all have done that once! I'm sure you wont forget again! hehe.

Best to wash in smaller pieces as you get a good theral clean. I always wash mine in long cut strips to the size of the plug or slug.

You'll know its good when its a little lighter color then its originally. Hold it up to some un washed stuff and see.

I've gotta tell you eclypse, I'm not having any problem emptying out the cart at 6v using just an inverted slug!
It just keeps going ...... and going ....... and going .........

:) Good to hear.. I was using that till i noticed the edges of the slug that reach down around the bridge were burnt. Black spots on the slug! There were getting too close to the coil where all the heat is.

:) Might try revisiting it.. maybe a slight shorter slug will be fine.

EDIT: Thats why i came up with the HV slug.. Its the slug turned upside down.. but i guess its a slow flow as it cant wick at 6v.

Well my inverted slug is wicking it's little heart out at 6v for me! Of course, by tomorrow it won't work anymore! I'm convinced that there are cart mod demons from another dimension at work here.

Well cool.. Thanks Pete for pulling me back on the path. hehe. Tried the HV slug again and its working pretty good. Crazy!

I pulled off the atty and did a ohms test on it and it read 2.8 ohms. So why the hell its fine right now and not at all last night after 8PM???

Will report back after empting it a few times... before the cart demons get here at 8PM! lol

Yup, hittin away with LARGE clouds of smoke ( i mean vapor) and no dry tasting atty.. I should of just released it with a Cart Demon Warning!

Certainly messed with me last night with killing my camera battery in the middle of showing how to attach the HV Slug and then drying out my attys!

Hmm.. maybe it was how i was inserting the slug by pinching it between the tweezers to insert it insted of how loose i was inserting it before with one side at a time.
