This makes me so sad. I will so miss my Wakonda. USPS is very unlikely to pay off on the insurance because shipping eliquid is most likely against their policies. They are going to find a way not to pay, so IMHO every order will be a big gamble. They are already finding ways to keep from paying insurance claims for other packages.

At $40 a bottle I can't afford that gamble. :(

Just throwing this out there you may ask Clark to make sure, but I frequently get Wakonda and so far that has been one of the only ones that has not shown up in the new bottles. I have an order for Wakonda that should be here tomorrow if it's still in LDPE might be a good time to get some to tide you over until the NT crew sorts all of this out. Which I have no doubt they will.

I will post back when I get it to confirm which bottles it came in.

The first shipment of bottles were not packed properly when the bottles came. Clark and Co. Made it right for me. The second shipment has very securely wrapped. I have confidence that my shipments will be securely wrapped, but if not, I doubt we will get refunded on our busted bottles from the usps, even if insured. I'm not carpenter, but I don't think there is 2" of wrap around each bottle.

I think we need to get moved to boxes asap before Clark starts losing customers over this. He has too good of a business to be losing customers like this.

It's a long holiday weekend, I expect nothing less than him to be right on top of it when Monday hits. I know in our shop if we had problems like this it would be paramount to get resolved immediately. I am sure Clark will feel the same.

I pinged him about this so he will see.

Again here are the procedures if you have a broken bottle in your shipment:

Received a broken bottle in the mail? Here’s what you need to do…

FIRST – Grab your camera. Take photos of the following:

1) Photograph the unopened purple package, likely soaked in eLiquid.

2) Photograph the bottle broken inside the unopened “bubble-out packaging.” (This way we can verify that it’s not just a broken empty bottle)

3) Photograph the broken bottle after opening the “bubble-out packaging.”

4) Photograph the entire order (including undamaged bottles) on top of the (likely liquid soaked) invoice.

5) Photograph the BORN ON DATE and BATCH/LOT CODE OF THE BROKEN BOTTLE

Send those FIVE pictures, along with your order number, to the following email address:

That was a post I made on another thread, pic with the lot number and date. Thought for sure I was going to maul my fingers on that glass, those shards were sharp.

BOOM!

I keep trying to imagine Kent and crew's reaction when news arrived that one of the new glass bottles had been smashed in the mail. Glad the new Fort Knox packaging seems to have alleviated the Great Glass Crisis of 2014.

It's frustrating - but, it's a learning curve. We'll figure it out.

May I ask why you are not shipping glass bottle in boxes? Every other place I have ever ordered that uses glass bottles uses boxes, I would think shipping glass in bubble wrap envelopes is just asking for trouble.

Probably the way it's going to need to go... discontinue USPS 1st Class Shipping.

Clark, I understand you are a business man and this must be highly frustrating for you. But your true Nicoticket customers will stick with you through this transition. Even if it means we pay a bit more for shipping. It's worth it (to me) for a peace of mind.

Growing pains are what they are. I think going to flat rate priority boxes are a foregone conclusion... I've already ordered a metric ....-ton of them, they should be in next week. In any case, we'll be fair an equitable about bottles broken in shipment. ... not too worried about the liquid itself, more the inconvenience and mess y'all have to deal with.

The only time I'll worry about breaking bottles and leaking liquids is if it leaks on my child support check. Then I'll be ...... and on a plane to Omaha wearing my tin foil hat with my foam sword tucked into my carry on! But I only get that every 2 weeks so no worries right now! You'll have boxes before my next order! :D

Then you won't need a picture, you'll see it first hand! And I'm not calling first...just showing up! Lol

Finding this out the hard way ;)

I would happily pay the cost of flat rate priority on an order to ensure safe and quick delivery.

I'm a small time seller on ebay but I've been able to buy 6x6x6 boxes for less than 20cents a piece to ship smalls out first class. That might not be a bad way to go as well. I am not sure the small flat rate boxes will allow enough space for a 60ml glass bottle wrapped in bubble wrap.
