Hi everyone, sorry for my absence, but the last week before the holiday always gets nuts. Long days at the factory, and holiday parties and celebrations at night. (It's a hard burden, but refusing would offend them so what can I do?

) And of course in the midst of this, my tablet pc crashed and when it came back up it had lost its network drivers, so no internet. I should have probably kept up on this
thread at least using my iPhone, but I hate trying to forum post on it, either in Safari or TapaTalk. Sorry.
Anyway, Most of the week was working on the cartomizer issue. There simply wasn't any time for them to make manufacturing changes before the holiday, but I did implement a pass/fail test as promised, and now all blank cartos will have a guaranteed 2.4-2.6ohm range.
I doubt it accounts for all of the problems, but I did notice in observing the testing that there were about twice as many rejected fo being too low resistance, than for being too high. The bell curve seems to be a bit more lopsided than I expected. Which leaves open the possibility that the burnt liquid problems are all caused by the low ones. Again, I doubt it, but it is possible.
I shared posts from this
thread and the feedback thread with the engineers. It took some doing to get your concerns through to them. Despite the earlier conversarion with the chief engineer at the beginning if the month, they hadn't implemented the ohm testing I instructed them to while I was gone, so when I got back from my visa run I had to make them retest all of them.
Anyway, when I discussed it with them I had to break through the usual engineer's attitude, which is always tough even with my friend. They kept insisting the customers couldn't possibly tell the difference since it's not enough difference to substantially impact vapor production or puff count.

That's why I showed them translated posts, proving that not only can you tell the difference, you guys MEASURE IT. I'm not sure I got the message about the burnt liquid through to them, though. Hopefully by the time CNY holiday is over I will have some burnt examples to show, I think that's what it will take. Jay, you sent yours back, right? Right?
