haha, it was a race against the clock and i think i lost i had to access my mythtv at home remotely through vnc and didn't have a vnc viewer on my workstation. downloaded it, installed it, started recording, went to live internet feed and they're talking about taxes

i do not like DODD at all i was cussing him out yesterday at teh end of the vote with his crap!!!

i hope burr gets this done...as it stands if it doesn't work out then anything new wont' be allowed..

he got the last word in last night before i changed the channel actually he got the first....DODD this has nothing to do with children...i honestly can't say i started cause i saw an add my older sister smoked....that was it
most children start smoking because of a family member that smokes

chris dodd is up for 10 minutes and talking about burrs amendment. He likes that he had a case but doesn't agree with it. Because after a decade it has never passed and now it is time to do so. Again about the children, 2-3000 children have started smoking since 3 weeks ago when this debate started. 400thou people die a year from it. he is sorry to be so repetetive.

I just got off the phone with both of my Senators' offices to urge them to vote for the Burr amendment-for whatever good it will do. I also sent both emails last night. Figure if I keep bugging them maybe they will at least think about it.

Same here. I emailed Senators Wyden and Merkley yesterday and just got off the phone with both of their offices today. I'm expecting them both to vote against the Burr amendment, but it can't hurt to let my opinion be known.

Most Senators offices monitor Twitter now. Some Senators and Congressmen post to Twitter too.
