Can E-liquid be absorbed through the skin?

I've got to say, I have spilled quite a bit of juice 36 mg on my hands and fingers, loading carts. I didn't even bother to wipe it off right away. I didn't get any bad effects from this. I don't recommend trying this at home, and maybe its my tolerance. I did wipe off after I was done , about
10 min. I was loading a bunch of carts for my me and my wife.

Wow...a lot of responses to this in not even 24 hours...

I guess this wasn't clear in my original post...but I was just throwing a "pondering" thought out there...I don't have a desperate need to rub nicotine on my wrist during class or anything.

It is interesting to see what reactions some of you had with getting the nicotine juice on your skin, and it is a health concern/caution that we all should probably watch out for.
