Can E-liquid be absorbed through the skin?

I've got to say, I have spilled quite a bit of juice 36 mg on my hands and fingers, loading carts. I didn't even bother to wipe it off right away. I didn't get any bad effects from this. I don't recommend trying this at home, and maybe its my tolerance. I did wipe off after I was done , about
10 min. I was loading a bunch of carts for my me and my wife.

Wow...a lot of responses to this in not even 24 hours...

I guess this wasn't clear in my original post...but I was just throwing a "pondering" thought out there...I don't have a desperate need to rub nicotine on my wrist during class or anything. :p

It is interesting to see what reactions some of you had with getting the nicotine juice on your skin, and it is a health concern/caution that we all should probably watch out for.
