I last had cholesterol and related tests done last after I had been vaping exclusively for about 6 months. Due to a work deadline, I was up all night and vaping heavily all night before going in first thing in the morning for the tests. All of my results, including the cholesterol results, were well within the normal range.

Can't eat or drink anything but water before a lipod test. So you was up all night and never ate or drank anything but water for 10-12 hrs, bet that was tuff to do. The only way I can go that long without is while sleeping.

So please don't try to tell us all that PG/VG vapor can not be absorbed into your bloodstream. Its just plain nuts thinking its not.

I read a study about how much nic is absored via the lungs, and according to the blood test results ... very little.
It was determind that the nic was absorbed in the lining of the mouth, throat, nasal passage, and sinus.
The reason being, the molecules in vapor were to large for the lungs to absorb and use.
There is a big difference in structure between smoke, fumes (toxic or not) and vapor, which is really "steam"
I found the study very interesting.

I know this thread is a little old but thought i would post anyways. I had my blood work done in March 2013 and my cholesterol was high. I can't remember what it was but i know it was high and i was told to exercise 30 min a day and to quit smoking. I did exercise for about 4 months and ate healthier but then it was all downhill from there for the past 6 months. Now i have finally quit smoking and was a about a week and a half into vaping only and the doctor wanted blood work again. I choose not to vape before the test. I am hoping that with the exercise that i did do for a while and the week and a half of only vaping will show some improvement in my cholesterol. Will post if it is or isn't once i get the results back. i know its only been a week and a half of no analogs when the blood was taking but i am hoping that helps a bit for now.

Update:

My blood work came back and to my surprise my cholesterol is still a bit high but numbers are better than before.
Last test was total cholesterol 6.54 and this test was 5.2. I am so glad that i didn't vape until the test was done. The reason why is because if vaping messes up the test i would never have know if these numbers where correct. I can't say for sure if vaping would have made a difference or not. My glucose test was the same as last time.
