The forward sitting 510 should allow the atomizer to counterweight the rear battery compartment somewhat. I'm guessing the space beneath the 510 connector if for wiring ?
Hopefully extra safeguards in place for that kind of power.

The board itself has 5 levels of protection. I have been vaping one for the last 2 months and am not the least bit concerned, and I have a bit of a reputation for preaching safety.

The space is mainly to allow the center pin room to have a reasonable bend on the wire, and since the 510 is spring loaded it needs a little room underneath to move freely.

Well about freaking time this is closer to
release. I was starting to think about a 75c LV Mirage just to be able to get something new.

I have been vaping the Evolv beta model (box mod style), not the one shown in the pics. The Evolv one has a great feel with a Merlin atty on it.

Sounds like a good design, especially good forethought on the 510 center pin wires. I have a ruined Cuboid because of that, and with the recent designs lately, I've been putting Kepler style heat sinks to de-spring load the 510 just for that reason.

VT Inbox / NarDa with 7/8 wrap 316 SS single coil and KGD cotton. Running 15 Watts for 405*F, vaping a DIY Creme de Menthe/ Vanilla flavor.
I could get used to this, although the smokestack DT will be replaced.

Well, it doesn't get much easier than this. The VT Inbox arrived 75W, turned it down to 15W. Five clicks of the Fire Button, press the + and - buttons for 2 seconds, and the temp preset of 425*F comes up. Dropped it to 405F and away we go ! The mod does the rest.
The box is about one and a half times the size of a Reos Grand, so someone with small hands might not be comfortable with it. The Squonk Bottle is super soft gotta be careful not to overfill the atomizer. And my thumb keeps getting caught in the squonk hole. But overall I like it. Delivers a very consistent vape. I actually thought the TC settings were very easy and easy to access.
I think this is just the kind of TC Mod I would ask for. Thanks again, everyone !
