Actually, you need to "update your account to enable 3rd party hosting"... :D

Can't see the pic, dear! Not even in the reply box!

Where exactly do I go to "update whatever ?"

You go to PhotoBucket and pay them 399 bucks! NOT!

Or you find another picture elsewhere. Or try another free image hosting site (like Imgur). Or you just drag and drop from your hard drive (if the picture is saved on your hard drive).

Or I could just say "screw photosuckit" and go to Imgur ! And I got my "vape Mail" picture back !

And We're Back !!!
OK, I have finally received my Pico !
Playing around with it, using a kayfun V2+ (or something like that, it's a clone). Seven wrap 3/32 ID 28g SS coil.
I finally got it into TC mode, and it almost killed me at 400°F. So I turned it down to 220°F, vaped well for a time or two. Now it won't fire, and it said Temperature Protection.
What am I doing wrong ?

I don't know if you are doing anything wrong but I will tell you what normally works for me.

First contact coils don't work well need to be spaced.

Mod will normally default to top wattage in TC mod. Turn down the wattage to something close to what the coil would use in power mode. Make sure when you put the coil on the mod for the first reading it is at room temperature. The correct reading is important. Also make sure you have selected SS if that is what you are using.

If the wattage is high, the mod will spend a lot of time saying temperature protection which means it is working but can make the vape very unsmooth so turn down the wattage.

When using TC, try to build your coil to a good resistance for the wire. I found the best results with SS to be when the coil is around 0.5 ohm, give or take, although TBH I was never happy with SS until I got a DNA 75 mod. Titanium coils at around 0.25-0.30 ohms work well for me on all my devices. Nickel is so soft I stopped trying to use it.

Just my :2c:, YMMV.

I'll agree that SS works best for me in TC.

I'm getting best results with dual coils on my RDA ohming out at 0.14 Ohms.

Although you'll need a mod capable of pushing 100watts for this build.

I'm using a DNA250.

Mostly using 26 AWG SS at around .4 ohm for TC and find that it works really well.

Also used 28 AWG at around .7 ohm and it worked well too.

Was going to try 30 AWG but decided it was just to flimsy for me work with.
I just got in some 27g ss. I was curious how much difference there would be from 26g. If I entered everything into steam engine correctly, not much. But it seems I can eliminate a wrap, which I was hoping for.

I have some 27 gauge but not really much difference from 26 gauge as far as I can tell other than a wrap less for same ohm. Prefer the thicker 26 gauge to work with though. Nice and stiff for rewicking.
Plan on twisting it. Fingers crossed. Usd to love twisted wire, couldn't find a spool of ss.
