I will get to the bunker with you Projectguy. I'll bring the beer, chips and some joose to help us do some planning.

This is taking way too long and you would think that if Customs found some error in the paperwork that they would have shipped it back to ProVape? It has disappeared into the Customs vortex.

I'll bring all the "Star Trek" movies and series and "Defying Gravity" we could be there for a long time.

I'm still trying to figure what to answer when they ask me how to make the "metal flashlight" work.

Easy. It takes a proprietary bulb, which was shipped separately. ;)

Mister Mike: The calming voice of reason.

................You've used this before I take it?

Can't say that I have; 'twas just the first thing that made sense that popped into my head. I used to work tech support, so I have experience in handwaving irrelevant things that people nonetheless fixate on.

Excellent: We have Plan A. If they ask me to make it work I'll just do a 20 wrap and hope the battery holds out for 5 seconds. The glow off the coils will blind them then I can make a break for it.

I feel your pain project. I have been waiting on a car part from the states for over a month. And it is just a little mounting bracket for a temp censor on my inter cooler. Oh we'll though not like I will be driving it now that the snow is flying.

You know what? This is well past a joke. Someone needs to tell you where your shipment is and when you will get it. There is not a damned thing proscribed about a ZAP, and no legitimate reason for it to be hung up in Customs. If there are taxes or fees due, it's time and past time for them to notify you. If there are not, they need a fire lit under their butts.

You're absolutely right. For one thing, under NAFTA there are no duties because the ZAP is 100% USA designed and manufactured. If there are taxes then make the assessment and I will either fight them or pay. Finally if Canada Customs has a problem with the labelling of the product then return it to the shipper and we'll start over. This is government at its worst.
