I knew this post / day would come.
As I stated in a previous post, I wasn't trying to take a side I just thought it was being handled in a very unprofessional / immature manner (not calling anyone immature here).

And what the Waffle rabbit said about inflection in text. That's one reason I hate to communicate in email only. It's so hard to know or perceive a tone in someone.

I have also been enraged by the service or lack of that I've recieved from some companies (Janty/Rusty's Offroad performance) but never displayed it in a manner that I've seen here in the last week.

I hope everyone gets what they want (within reason) and we can return to a fun loving forum that I very much enjoy being a part of.

Sorry about your Mom HB. I went through it a couple of years ago. I know how much it can affect all aspects of your life. I wish you the best and somehow; peace.

Thanks Steve for starting this post. I knew you would. That's why I support and do business with your company.

Casey is a wonderful CS person but operates within guidelines that we may not always agree with but it's her job. She's not the owner.

The only thing I wish or would ask is that all the damaging post of not only PS's but each of our own character and actions be deleted from the pages of ECF history.

I disagree with tone. If you use the correct phrasing and intonation in your text there is no reason why the receiver may not understand your intentions? eg. I am disappointed by this, This saddens me etc.

Can you explain who you are describing in this message? You cannot make this statement and then vaguely refer to everyone? WHO are you talking about please?

Also I agree with you on the point that I am happy Steve started this post, I wish he would have divided the people he was referring to ...this post so far has only addressed the other persons concerns.

Also are you asking to delete the messages I posted about puresmoker? Nothing in my original post is untruthful and it did not warrant deletion by a moderator so I do not wish it to be deleted. This is ultimately steves decision but I agree it would not reflect his business any better by deleting it. I cannot speak about anyone elses posts just my own. Why do you want to delete my post?

Also how have I damaged my character and actions? You say "our" so you believe your character and actions have been damaged....how so?

I was under the impression that all Cass wanted was a working mod. I think she deserves an explanation from PS......but she was given a working mod for free by one of the members here on ECF, so the "fix my stuff" thing should end. She has a working mod now ( well.....it is being shipped to her)......and that is WAY more than I got when I had Vendor problems. So let that be the end of it, as far as the "working mod" thing.

And I am still not in agreement that posts should be deleted. Deletion of one opinion, good or bad, is censorship, and only shows that the poster had a valid arguement and the vendor wants to hide that by deleting it.

Not anyone means "No One". It certainly did not mean you Cass since you are in fact someone.

there is/was no tone as text does not convey inflection.
"I am disappointed by this, This saddens me etc." is a feeling. Not inflection of tone.

I am describing no one in particular. That's the reason i used the phrase "No One" just the postings in general.

Damaged character is for you to decide. Mine is fine.

No big deal, Cass. Just be sure to read posts correctly. And I am sorry you are having "Net" troubles today.........I hate when that happens. But my opinion is just that.....MY opinion. If I were given a mod that works, to make up for the GLV I couldn't get fixed because of Vendor problems, I would accept the free mod as this.....(Thought Balloon>>( I paid for a unit that should work but doesn't.....I was givin a unit for free that works to make up for the one that doesn't. Money was paid....Now I have a working unit. May not be a PS Unit.....but this one DOES work.)

If you get that free XHaler, because of this situation....AND you get you PS Unit fixed for free......You then show this entire Forum that voicing an opinion is not what you do to correct a situation. You do it to get free stuff. You will have 2 working mods for the price of one. Sounds like a good deal til you realize that the XHaler could have went to someone else who needed a mod.

I had a HUGE problem with a vendor....never got my unit fixed.....never had ANYONE offer me a mod to replace it. So here I am with no mod.....just the shell of a GLV that does nothing......and since I broke this leg the other night.....all my hopes of getting a new mod are out the window.

And I have still sat here and said that you deserve to be treated fairly. But Fairly is this.....You paid for a working mod, and now you have one.




How about this....... Give the non working Unit to anyone. Only these conditions should apply........#1) The person does not own a mod already. #2) They live in the US, so dealing with PS is not an issue......and #3) Whoever you give it to pays PS for the switch to fix it.

Then that free XHaler doesn't just become your "lay over" unit till PS breaks down and fixes your unit. And 2 people get to be helped in this whole thing.

Hey 420Smiles, there is no if involved. The Xhaler has already been sent and if I had another one I would send you one also.

Quit trying to twist up my words. I never suggest or say that you weren't sending her the XHaler. If you wanna come in here, twist words to make it fit what you want it to look like....then you can stay out.

I have followed this situation from the start. I have always been on the side that PS needs to explain the situation and that Cass desreves a working mod.

I actually thought more of you than that, mwahle1.......Could I have been wrong?

I'm sure you would send me one........Your offer to send Cass one proved that to us all. :)

And I hate to sound so defensive, I know that is how it is coming off......but it only seemed to me, from the last couple of posts, that Cass wanted the Xhaler AND wants PS to pony up another switch for the unit. Giving her 2 mods. The XHaler could have went to someone with NO MOD at all. ( Not including myself.......I really mean ANYONE on ECF) and she could still fight with PS about the switch.
I thought your gesture was so she would have a working mod, not feel like she spent money and had nothing to show for it......and to end this spat with PS. If it isn't obvious.....I can break it down. PS already went ABOVE and BEYOND trying to help Cass, who got a 2nd hand unit. The warranty is not hers to claim on.....if there even IS a waranty.
She now has a working mod!! Period. End of it. She now has something to show for the money she spent.
I thought a nice responce to you generous gift was for her to do the same. Thats all. If she were to give the unit away......she would still have a working XHaler....and someone lese could pay PS to fix the unit, and they too could have a wotking unit. This seems like a fair way to resolve the issue. PS could still explain to Cass why they done things the way they did. Cass still has a working mod. Someone else gets a mod. AND PS gets paid to fix a unit.

That sounds like everybody winning....PLUS a bonus winner.

I havent commented once in this whole soap opera but I will now. I am in no way taking anyones side here so if thats someones take on this think twice, cause I wont respond to anyone that thinks I meant them.

I understand everyone needs to be treated by a companies customer service properly. Some companies have a better policy then others and some are out right rediculous. But I also feel companies deserve to be treated properly by the consumer as well.. I have seen most companies Ive dealt with handle matters in the best way possible but it was always handled in a nice way by myself also. I can understand how frustration gets the best of us when things dont go our way, and things dont always, the more you order things and deal with alot of orders coming from many companies, a problem will rear its ugly head somewhere. Through many years of buying and selling both Ive always found that Honey always brings a better response then Vinegar. Once an attitude is set into action, it usually never gets the resolve were looking for. I understand tempers flair and alot of times adequate time for response is also a culprit. Cause things are done online and most times dont involve a phone conversation, it gets frustrating. As days or time go by tempers heat and more insulting things are said. I know we would all like our individual situation handled as fast as possible but underlying circumstances can sometimes come into play. As long as everyone remains cool headed 99% of the time a situation gets resolved. There is always gonna be irate customers and people that feel they werent treated fairly but bashing people, companies and fighting amongst ourselves will never make any bad situation good.

Once again this is only my opinion, and in no way am I pointing fingers towards anyone. I just hope everyone can get through trying times like this and avoid bitter harsh words in the future until all attempts at a resolve have been done. I can understand if there is outright blatant problems that things get said but until a situation has been played out to all extents I feel negative comments and posts and chiming in to fuel ones anger is not the right way to handle a situation by anyone, myself included.

That was a suggestion. This is not a contest, it is a serious discussion. Contribute something besides........."Pick Me".

Just trying to lighten the drama. Steve's reputation speaks for itself. I don't know of any supplier more trusted in the vaping world.

And if anyone's giving a mod away, I live in the US, don't own a mod, so pick me.

If his Rep speaks for itself, then we should consider that his rep ain't lookin to good right now. Lots of people, including Cass, are having issues. And I'd stand to say I can think of several vendors who are very trusted.......ThagBuilt.com comes to mind first, but thats a discussion for a different thread. ( And NO, I don't own a Chuck)
I've spoken to Cass thru PM and I'm pretty sure she is not taking my suggestion to heart, so no more "Pick Me". Please?
