Did you try it? If not, it's worth a try. Yes, you still need to leave it alone for a day or two, but from what I've done there's no comparison with simply leaving it to 'age' naturally

I've done the hot water bath a few times. Haven't used a crock pot method though. The wife wouldn't like a kitchen takeover lol
But it's so well worth it - it can save literally weeks for juices that need it (many don't of course)!
With the crock pot method, does it change in color at all? My one RY4 blend goes to a deep caramel color when it's ready.

I don't do tobacco liquids anymore but there are plenty out there.
I'm going to need to try this, where can I do my online one stop shopping? I never tried DIY juice but it's time to start learning, doesn't look be to hard to do. I guess it's trial and error in the beginning.
Thank you so much, I'm going to give it a try. Bookmarked, I was thinking about trying it and now is a good time as ever.
Fans of Castle Long Reserve or Gentleman's Reserve might be interested in my latest recipe. It was not designed as a clone, but it's a remarkably similar flavor profile.
This is a balanced, complex blend of Jameson Black Barrel Irish Whiskey and toasted macaroon. Jameson Black Barrel is generally described, "traditional notes of toasted wood, spice, and vanilla are enhanced by creamy, luscious touches of exotic fruit..." On inhale you get tongue-sweetness of spice as smooth whiskey builds. On exhale, whiskey blends with toasted nuts, then creamy vanilla and toasted nutty coconut. Succulent coconut is the final, lingering note. My recipe:
HIC's BLACK BARREL WHISKEY MAC
1% FA Oak Wood
1% FA Coconut
0.5% FA Whiskey
0.5% FA Brandy
0.5% FA Vanilla Bourbon
0.5% FA Vienna Cream
0.5% FA Marzipan
0.5% FA Cardamom
0.5% TFA Brown Sugar
Mix it well and let it rest at least one day before you try it - to let Whiskey smooth out. No need to wait any longer than a day or two.
(NOTE: If you prefer very bold flavor, you can make this double strength, which also provides solid throat hit. I prefer milder, 5.5% total flavoring as written.)
This recipe is all about balance and contrast. The whiskey balances the macaroon; oak wood balances richness; creamy vanilla balances toasted coconut, exotic spice balances brown sugar, and so on. Playing with your voltage provides variations, and it's great over a wide range of vaping power (no flavor here will 'burn' if you crank it up a bit).
If you try it, I hope you'll leave a note here or on my blog to tell what you think of it. I'm certainly enjoying it.
visited bull city. nice link for diy. will place an order to get the FA flavors for headinclouds recipe. yes there is a sale until the 5th. good time as any to stock up some more.
bull city order has already shipped. i mentioned in the comments that i was referred to their site on ECF thanks to Curly. i know that won't mean anything to them but like a pyramid i will refer folks there as well. i see myself being a long time customer of bull city vapors. one of the only sites i have seen that specializes in diy.
i have begun substituting some flavors other than TFA into the recipe with great success. as i said earlier, it can only get better and it has. i was getting some scorching above 9 watts using all TFA flavors and that is now gone with the subs i have applied so far. after i get a chance to try FA, i will try all the options heads up to find the best of the best and rewrite the clone. i want to attempt grandmaster and lucena next. never tasted them yet but like the profiles and want to add more ADV options to this one and my new tobacco replacement. hopefully, the flavor lab i am creating will make future cloning/profiling attempts much easier.
thanks ECF members for all the input
