Well guess that bounces me off the list,
I was mostly concerned with how I like to build super short wicks that don't even touch the deck with Readyxwick, so the micro seemed like I'd have plenty o' juice hanging around.

does anyone have one of the manta clones that Tom did way back?i have one on the way and just wondering what the diff is between them and the v2 other than the obvious that the v2 is authentic...right??appreciate any feedback their may be.
Only difference is post holes. Clone didn't line up parallel which makes it a little more difficult to build but nothing more. I have the clone, others which have both have confirmed other than build holes flavour etc exactly the same

I have one of the clones, as well as a couple authentics. The problem with the clones is that the post holes aren't parallel with each other. They are skewed off in different directions; which just requires a little extra fiddling with the coil legs, in order to get them mounted. Once set up, though, the clone vapes as well as the authentic. Internally, as for the 510 positive pin, Tom could answer better if there are any differences.

I have one of the original ones. Post holes are a tad askew but i've not had any problem doing a build. From the pics I've seen the authentics look to have phillips screws my one has grub screws.
The top on both seems tight so may need to have it on a mod to get top off.
Overall very nice.
Yes, the authentics I have came with Phillips screws. I think I'm going to replace them with grub screws, next time I have the caps off. I just like grubs better.
I did take one of the o rings out, this morning, in one of them. It makes removing and replacing the cap much easier.
I prefer grubs too. If you find out what size works, please share

I cannot express my newfound atty happiness between Mantas and Vectors. Vectors @ .3ish, Mantas @ .4ish-.5ish, switching seamlessly between them throughout the day man. Huge, flavorful clouds one hit...smaller, super flavorful clouds the next. I'm enjoying vaping more than ever.

it is roll-your-eyes-back-in-your-head flavor with no leaking whatsoever and a nice draw. As of right now, the V is my "I need a strong hit" atty and the Manta is my "I need to kick back and relax" atty. The D I have much love for but haven't hit one in a while and don't see myself doing so anytime real soon - Status
