Catfish Atty Mods the next Chapter

I'm a flavor junkie, as I've mentioned many times. But I keep a bottle of unflavored 50/50 6mg/ml nick around, for when I need to cut some of my flavored juice. The Manta is such a flavor chucker, that some juices I cut, for times when I want a more mellow vape. Right now, I'm vaping some Blueberry Cobbler, that I cut in half.

Not in possession of a lot of high end attys so I might get easily impressed, but love the Manta. Airflow is spot on for my style of vaping and a 0.55 build. Usually running with 2 holes open, fully open after a few beers. Flavor is top notch. I'm not sure how to accurately describe the vape. Very smooth perhaps?

A big thing for me is practicality. Used it exclusively last week on my vacation which included three days of rough treatment during a metal festival. For the whole trip the total amount of leakage was ONE drop, probably because of some sloppy squonking. The AFC is mostly set and forget under these conditions. Would love to see a Vector like AFC on the next version.

The tight fit of the cap to base is a problem for me too. I am a little skeptical about the somewhat irreversible act of removing one of the O rings though. I will wait and see if it loosens up after awhile.

I didn't realize the Catfish offered them.
But I should have known! ;-}

I must have $1000 in stainless hardware, probably more. I get irritated when a new atty comes in and I have to wait for hardware. Much like when you were a kid and on Christmas morning getting all the electronic toys and not a battery in sight; very frustrating. Now I have batteries by the case and tiny hardware by the pound. Don't even get me started on drill bits......

Wow...all I can say about the Manta2's...well....guess I could say INCREDIBLE.....!

Flavor is unbelievable, never had such a smooth vape.

I still love those Derringers, but the Manta's are getting the most use today.......

I cannot express my newfound atty happiness between Mantas and Vectors. Vectors @ .3ish, Mantas @ .4ish-.5ish, switching seamlessly between them throughout the day man. Huge, flavorful clouds one hit...smaller, super flavorful clouds the next. I'm enjoying vaping more than ever.
