I have had the suspicion that my air posts are either lose or not set right and when I add juice to ones that I vape down to nothing, they still push juice into the battery area............but I may give it a shot.

Another thing I have been doing that helps is when it is wet and I do set it in the CE3, I take a clearo tip and push it as far down as I can (with good force but without breaking it)

I use the base of the syringe to push the post back on, Outlaw suggestion. I will try the clearo tip. If I can find the clearos. I have touched them for a couple weeks. I put some liquid in that made the plastic go all wonker looking. These were the pre-X2 branded clearos.

I just push my tubes until it get in the base, maybe 32nd of an inch. Oh I have couple I didn't try fiddling with so they aren't pulled out as much. I kept telling myself after every fill I need to pull it more.

I looked around for something to use to reseat the inner seal before I found a simple BIC stick pen works like a charm. Nice fit into the barrel and a blunt, firm end to keep things nice and square.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it, your results and mileage may vary, no warrantee or guarantee is expressed or implied.

Well, I got my CE3's today and I'm sorry to say I'm getting the same burnt taste as with every clearo I've tried so far. In the past 10 days I've spent almost $50 on four different brands of clearo's - SI's nano and the CE3, O2Vapor's Infinity, and a Kanger M3 from Carolina Vapor - and all have that same burnt taste, or, just as bad, almost no taste. From my POV, the technology just ain't there yet. Looks like I'll be sticking with my carto's for now.

My only exerience is with the CE3. I can tell you that they come with primer in them so a quick wash with water may help cure that burnt flavor. If you're using a high VG liquid it might also be necessary to adjust the center post, air tube, up just a tiny bit to let the liquid get to the wicks a little easier.

If you do wash them, be very careful with dry burning them. Even when dry burned, it will take a number of heavy drags, like 15-20 probably, to get them producing vapor.

Appreciate the suggestions, but I've pretty much tried everything. Had enough for now.

From my experience with four different brands, I think they're overheating, even on my auto 78mm. The first couple of hits of a vape are great everytime, then I quickly start getting the burnt taste. If I wait a longer time between hits while having a vape, like 15-20 secs, then there is much less or even no burnt taste. I don't know, maybe it's overheating, maybe something else, something to do with the wicks.

You are letting them sit for a few minutes before vaping, right? I usually let my sit for about 5 minutes before starting with them. Specifically, I stir them around a bit when they are still upside down and then sit them battery side down for about 5 minutes. I have had my share of issues with the CE3s but never a burning taste.

Hmmm. Well, I've been trying 50/50 juice in these. I just tried some 80/20 and it's vaping perfectly. Maybe the others were just too thick? Anyway, ordered some more 80/20 juice today.

I use 50/50 and 30/70 most of the time. Just have to have a little patience.

I also have been using a mix of 50/50, 30/70 and 100 vg. I have no clue what vg % it would be.. I just mixed a bunch together.

I would like to have a bunch of $100 bills too please :p

I have a bunch of 100$ and 95% VG juice and it works fine. Same thing as Awsum, it darkens around the wicks but I dont see a flavor difference.

I also chain vape (in through the mouth and out through the nose while taking another drag) and I dont have any issues that way either.

Ah. I think I've found the problem I've been having with my CE3's tasting burnt. Apparently I wasn't cleaning the battery well enough in that groove around the center post. I got it nice and shiny and now the juice in my CE3's is tasting absolutely delish. These are much better than any of the other clearo brands I tried.

I also notice quite a difference between brands of juice. All my juices from RAWR vape great in the CE3's - TH, taste, vapor production - while those from another, less-expensive vendor are not nearly as consistent in their quality.

These things are so finicky. I can be vaping along innocently minding my own business and all of a sudden, gurgle and boom. Mouthful of juice.

I don't get it. I can refill a few times and all's great and then refill one and blammo. Leaking like banshee.

Love these things when they work but it's like black magic to keep them from betraying you.
