i just finished my first ce3 from SI and i was amazed at how well it performed for me.

of course i flushed it out with VODKA before i filled it and it was a dynamite vape.

i had been reading all the negative
hype about them, that i did not know what to expect
of course this may be the last one i use with the new NANO-1'S out now.

anyway i enjoyed it.

After my experience with the Nano (I've renamed it the Nono) I'm sticking with the CE3s I have and will probably look for something else. Only time will tell, I guess, but unless the Nano is greatly improved in the next batch I'll go back to cartos instead, at least they taste good and don't leak, unless I make a mistake.

Well if I remember correctly - and I am sure I will be corrected if I am - I believe "Imagine" said in one of the many threads about the New Cartomizers/Clearomizers that the SI "CE3" will be discountinued and/or not be carried by SI since they now have the Nano . . . Just an FYI :)

Yes, I know the Nano (Nono) is a replacement for the CE3. I have a fair supply of CE3s and a ton of cartos, and there are always alternatives.

there are other vendors that carry the ce3s,if SI discontinues them,,its a big E-CIG world out there and plenty of diversion for every one.

we all have choices,,if not this one, then there is always the other one.

I Hear Ya' Both - It was only an "FYI" just in case you didn't see "Imagine's" post . . . ;)

I have got used to the quirks with the CE3s. I still am having the same stupid issues but some of the suggestions here have helped a bit. The only thing I haven't really figured out is how to take the silicone out without destroying it at some point but I am getting it done.

I like the "Nono", that is funny. If it was the CE3 without the quirks, I would buying more right now but I may stock up a bit on CE3s on my next visit to SI. I bought 20 of them, gave one to a buddy, one died, one - I ripped the silicone but used the dead one to revive it and out of the remaining, I am only really using about 5-6 of them. I dont know how much is "stocked up" but it's been over a month of use.

I live in PA where buying booze is like buying a baby on the black market so I have to go to the state store for some vodka. If you could clean them with Jack Daniels, I would be able to clean the CE3s and then mix what I use in coke and go to town.

If you have been using them that long, I may buy two more packs and see how long it takes to get down to only 5 working but if 2.5 months is realistic, I would be good until 2015

the vodka cut the burned on juice build up on the coils,,of course you are going to have to let them dry out,but they will dry faster then water.

well, I wish you luck with your Nano arrival. Seems to be a mixed bag.

I have been rotating 5 of them mainly. I was too lazy to clean out the ones I was using the other night and opened another 3 or so. I have refilled the original 5 so many times that I couldnt tell you how much but I have used 70/30vg, 100vg, dark juices, light juices and other than the slight leak at 50% or less, they all still work and well.

as far as juices,,i only vape one flavor at a time since i started diy,,,but i use to keep 8 or 10 flavors going at the same time,,not any more.
that is why i was using 10 ce3s at the same time.

I was having some trouble with burnt hits on one of the SI ones and noticed that the coil is a bit different than the origional batch I got from "the other guys". The SI one while measuring the same ohms seems smaller. I wonder if this is what is causing the burnt hits with the X2.

I raised the post slightly and it's vaping great now.
