The thread will be helpful. You also don't have to read ALL of it, I did not. I love rayon, I use Sally's brand Graham Cellucotton, you can also buy it on Amazon. Just be sure you get the 100% rayon brand, there is "cellucotton" that looks almost identical, only it then lists "100% cotton),

I find rayon to be far more forgiving a wick than cotton as far as leakage and it plays to my strengths (overstuffing a coil, LOL) as it shrinks when wet. I found it absolutely stopped any leaking I had in its tracks, and not only that it lasts longer than cotton before needing rewicking, there is little rayon "taste" an it carries flavor well, and can withstand high wattage vaping well, if that's your thing.

But, I read some of the thread, posted a few questions, and got some great answers, and I was up and running with rayon fast, and I don't look back to cotton... ever. It's my favorite wicking material by far.

Best of luck,

Anna

I've been a fan of Rayon (cellucotton) since I first used it.

In my experience, it absorbs and transfers flavor better than the various forms of cotton. I don't get the familiar "new cotton" taste with a new wick when using Rayon. It doesn't burn or scorch as fast as cotton does. Rayon seems to last longer than cotton before it needs to be replaced. A $10 box of Rayon will last several vapers a lifetime of wicking material. I've found that you should use a little more Rayon than you would cotton in your wick for the most effectiveness.

There is a very dedicated following with Rayon but personally I can't stand it. Contrary to the fans it does have a taste and I dislike it plus I it gives me a dry scratchy throat. As for it lasts weeks well my coils will gunk up long before my cotton even comes close to breaking down. Oh one more thing, if you get a burnt hit it is the most gut wretching, vomit inducing that just hangs around forever you'll ever experience.

So no, there are those who dislike Rayon. But yes you should try it, it might work out for you. My favorite wick is Koh gen Do, Cotton Bacon Prime and Native Wicks Platinum.
