One of these days I am going to pay attention to how much and how often. I was a mindless smoker, so I guess at times a mindless vaper. I like to drip occasionally for plus flavour but strong nic ie 18 mg makes me hack so I dilute down to 3 or 4 mg/ml but because I realized I was buying ready made a little too fast I decided to DIY
a) to know what was in my juice b)it's ultra cheap once set up c) to see if I could do it d) cause the kiddies think it's cool that an old duck can DIY or build a coil-I work in a locked facility for the not criminally responsible and bonding sometimes requires the cool factor-smile

oh I suppose I should get around to trying out the nic test kit I bought and actually pay some attention to some of the factors of smoking cessation of course I have only been a non tobacco consumer less than three months -from a solid 40 year pad plus -unashamed, guiltless - tobacco consumer who had absolutely no concept of being addicted to anything until someone said I was. I do think I am addicted to coffee though.

Tobacco addiction -don't know -maybe but never did make any efforts to cut back , cut down etc for past 33 years , started smoking about 1965 quit for five years when kids were little from about 1978 to 1983 and never bothered even considering quitting again until a few months ago when circumstances kind of pointed me in the vaping direction. I do say I prefer vaping to tobacco it tastes better and at $13.00 a pack vaping and DIY is considerably cheaper and I am oppositionally defiant enough to be delighted to be able to deprive the Government of my additional $68.00 weekly cruelty tax.

I take every opportunity to vape my little Istick every where I can and make certain I exude a look of intense satisfaction in the vape to renormalize a sense of individual pleasure - Um maybe I have become particularly defiant with advancing age. This is good, this is liberating, I like it.

My other half says that I chain vape, but I really only vape about 3mls per day...hmmmm...

Mostly because I can't vape much at work anymore, and I get my vape on when I'm at home and he's around. It's always next to me. Walk the dogs? Vape. On the tablet? Vape. TV? Vape. Errands? Stealth vape. No coffee in the morning, just lots of vaping after I hit my snooze. So, I get it :).

I gotta say I love it when he reaches his hand out asking to try it... About a dozen times a day :p

It's hardly even the hand to mouth habit, it just tastes really nice, and you don't get much of a "buzz" off something like 3-6mg do you?
I've looked and monitored several of your posts from a number of threads and it appears to me like you're already buzzed. I don't believe via some of your posts yesterday that you're 20+ years old either.

If it's not to get your Nic fix, why not run a tank with a low/no nic blend of a flavor you like, and keep a tank of your chosen nic level handy, for when you need a fix... if your nicotine intake is concerning you. If it's not, vape on. I have five tanks on me, right now, so I can switch flavors on the fly, although most of those a loaded with 12mg juice. Two still have some 6mg juice that I was given when I started vaping, two weeks ago.

**YMMV, I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV. This has been a paid TV advertisement for by Friends or Dirt Farmers of Ontario.

Especially when I am on my computer (Which is a lot) I chain vape a lot, like I mean... Going through 1ML in the space of 10 mins... (I vape at 5V on a 1.6OHM protank3)

Never had much luck chain-vaping protanks, though I was occasionally very successful at chain-burning them.

Am I killing myself :D

Am I damaging my heart, lungs or giving myself cancer...

Yes! Naw, actually...

I absolutely have to agree with you. When I asked him or her how old he or she was it wasn't to be insulting at all. I just find it hard to believe he or she is in late twenties based on the 10 or 12 threads they started yesterday

I chain vape when i'm at home or when drinking alcohol. At home i have the option to switch to a juice with 0 mg nicotine and whenever i vape with a sub ohm tank or dripping i never exceed 6mg of nicotine. My normal tanks i vape around 12mg, but those i dont really chain vape.

Can't help it, i like clouds, o-rings and doing tricks with the vapor :D

It might be advisable to have several different strengths. One for idle chain-vaping, the other for times of stress. I think 18 mg is a bit too strong for feeding the hand-to mouth habit. I use three mg most of the time, YMMV.

Nicotine is not for the purpose of "getting a buzz" -- there are a lot of substances for that. Nicotine is for those who've grown accustomed to it via smoking, or for those with some health issue that benefits from nicotine. I haven't "gotten a buzz" from nicotine in 40 yrs -- when I first started smoking in 1975.

My own solution to the chainvaping problem was simply to start low, because I was chainvaping like a maniac when I first started, and gradually raise the level until I found the level that a) won't make me feel nauseous if I chainvape, but b) is high enough that most of the time, I don't need to chainvape -- for me, that's about 10mg.

Same for me. I do chain vape occasionally, but mostly it's just a puff or two here and there.
