Exactly! It's the ONE reason I would even consider (and I HAVE) ever buying another "automatic" e-cig... so I could chain vape, hands free! :D

I used to smoke 2.5 PAD. went to vaping and thought I was vaping far more then I was ever smoking. Now I could careless about "how much' I vape. I enjoy it and I will do it whenever I want!!!! and if you do vape "too much" your body will let you know. typically a headache or upset stomach. If you don't feel sick, VAPE ON!!

I chain vape in the same situations as I used to chain smoke, when I'm out with friends, wasting time on the internet, or just mad about something. Except now I don't go to bed and feel like my heart is thumping harder than it should be because I smoked nearly a pack of cigarettes in 5 hours.

One thing I love about vaping is I can choose how I want it. High nicotine in the morning when I'm busy and can only take a puff here and there. Lower in the evening when I can relax and throughly enjoy some juice. I will say you gotta drink a lot of water when you're chain vaping, and it's probably more water than you'd think you need. That's the only ill effect I've noticed from chain vaping, mild dehydration if you don't up your fluids.

The only concern I have about lung damage in analogues vs vaping is how much more I vape. I tend to vape to the point where it kind of hurts my lungs to keep vaping. I am relatively new to vaping, though. Is it normal to get some fullness in the lungs after a few hits?

In vaping, most of the nicotiene is absorberd through the mouth and nose tissues...
and you should inhale into your mouth slowly and hold it there for a second or two- then exhale through your mouth and nose.
You really don't want to deep lung vapor from vaping...it will give you sore lungs in no time flat.

The explanation is long...but the short of it is that the nicotine attached to PG/VG is large..like 10 microns and doesn't absorb easily into the deep lung blood vessels. The nic in ciggies is small...1 micron in size and is absorbed instantly in the deep lung vessels and goes to the brain straight off. Hence, no 'head rush' in vaping. Nicotine in vaping is absorbed more slowly...and to keep your nic level up- you need to vape more often, and for longer than you would normally smoke a cigarette.

Vaping drys you out...so drink plenty of water to hydrate...and to flush those old toxins out too.

Wow, that wore me out, hope it helps....
Now, back to Vaping my DIY ButterRum.....Yum !!!

Today while driving to/from town (1 hour in, 1 hour back), I took a pull on my Ego-C about every other breath or so unless I was talking. This is more than I would have done if I'd been smoking a cigarette ... with one of those, I probably would have smoked 2 going in and 2 on the return, so certainly not a drag every other breath like I was doing with vaping.

So my ha-ha "educated" guess is that I was chain vaping, but is this rate of vaping unusual or anything? I figured, I love the menthol freshness, it's not hurting me, so why not? Besides keeping me from even wanting a cigarette, it also kept me from digging into the bag of peppermint candies on the center console ;)

How do *you* vape? A few 1-2 puffs here and there during the day, or 10 minutes at a time or what?

My answer? "A lot". :)

The whole nicotine absorption thing is different. With cigs it's fast. Seconds from inhale to it hitting your brain. It's fast. Vaping, it's slower and probably in smaller amounts per puff.

I suspect, from my experience and reading new member posts, that there's an adjustment period where you're getting used to a new way of getting the nicotine and you actually need to gain experience at it to reach your... oh, optimum? Not like you have to "think about it" nor "practice" so much as, say, like riding a bike. You just keep doing it until it feels right and works.

I could "chain vape" big time at first. But then began to slow down. Still vape fairly frequently but I was also a heavy smoker. But I'm not "chain" vaping now. I would guess I adjusted my inhale and all (without thinking much about it) until I could keep the nicotine level in my blood stream up where I was used to having it. I'd say my vaping habit is approaching about the same "rate" as when I would smoke.

But that took a while. It is a whole other way to get the nic you're used to.

Way better one too. Much more tasty. :)

Tucson, it's a dry heat
Day 5 - chain vape after work. No vaping at all in the daytime. Never smoked in the car, but find that I GRAB my PV in the car and vape vape vape (while driving stick, not always easy, lol.) I figure I will cut back when my body is out of panic mode. I love the fact that I can drop my nic at night so I can sleep. I used to chain-smoke on the phone at night and then not be able to sleep. Old habits die hard, right?

haha, I like the nick name

So do you not inhale at all or just a light inhale sometimes or what? I've read some forums where different people do different things, but I've never tried not inhaling deeply - maybe I will see if I can get used to it and hopefully it will make me feel better!

Chain vaping is ok, as long as you aren't experiencing negative side effects.

These may include:
Headaches
dizziness
coughing
sore throat and lungs
fatigue

I vape way more than I ever smoked. I've dropped my nic down to 12 in most juices and don't get a lot of these side effects much at all. However, there are some juices that will give me a headache even if I just vape a little bit. I think I've narrowed it down to pure PG base juices.

I generally try to get a PG/VG blend, or if I order from Mt. Baker, I get 70% vg with 30% distilled water. I can vape those all day with no issues.

There was this one time I went to visit a local vape store. They had a tasting bar with 24mg nic juices. I tried about 20 juices then got very dizzy and nauseous. I had to go sit down for 15 minutes to let the waves of dizziness and nausea pass. After that, I was fine, but I became painfully aware of the saying "All things in moderation, including moderation".

I vape (and inhale) alot more than I smoked, but I feel a lot better than when I smoked so I don't care. I do notice in the morning when drinking coffee and inhale vaping that my blood pressure rises by about 10 points on the systolic side and a little less on the diastolic side. My BP is usually a little on the low side so I'm not concerned.

Started vaping about 2 weeks ago and having some mouth soreness. Thinking maybe the 24mg nic is irritating the surfaces in my mouth. Going to drop down to 18mg and see if that helps. I have had to back off the vaping due to the soreness and burn a few analogs. And they sure do taste bad. Maybe I will get some snus and not use analogs. I don't know But do know that I enjoy vaping and look forward to not going back for good.

i chain vape alot while driving or when im doing some heavy thinking (working on something) but reading or do active stuff i rarely touch my ecig. for those chain vape moment when i know ill have my fog machine rolling i use a much lower nic 8%-12% juice and something decent in VG (30PG/70VG) just to get my effect with out over doing it. when im out and about i use 18-24%nic and 100%VG with extra flavor to add some Throat back in it just because im not gonna toot on my PV as often.
*** but eh, everyone is different.

I wouldn't call myself a chain vaper, but I do vape heavily while I'm watching television or reading online. I would guess about 30-40 drags an hour, but much, much less if I'm doing something active, like yard work, or even driving around town. I never vape in public, unless I'm in my car. :vapor:

so you are a closet vaper lol
