I didn't know chain vaping until I ran out of nicotine and have been vaping straight VG. I have had to switch out heads because they were getting to hot. Looking forward to some new juice. At least I am not smoking analogs again.
I tend to chain vape when i'm driving or browsing the net. But I remind myself to slow down when my tongue starts to feel "burnt". (well, not "burnt" but more so sore). Tongue bite is something I've only experienced with pipe tobacco, so I never really thought it could happen with vaping, but depending on the flavor I'm vaping, my tongue will get a little sore when I chain vape. Is chain vaping unusual?....No. But it would be if you end up chaining dry hits.
Im totally a chain vaper at home or driving. Slow down while at work but always have it in my scrub pocket so I have when I want it. I just transferred to a new hospital and walked into the CT control room and saw at least 3 mods sitting around. First thought "I am gonna get along with these people just fine" lol Never vape in stores or anything like that but this thing is like a pacifier. My husband hardly uses his at all. He will charge it maybe every other day and is still on the same 7 mil bottle of juice he got 3 months ago!! Makes me wonder if he is smoking at work because he smoked a pack and a half of Marlboro Reds a day before vaping. He has starting chewing gum which he never did don't know if its to keep from smoking or to cover the smoke. He is stronger willed than me so maybe he just doesn't need it or like it like I do.
i have been art this about 27 days and have been pretty much chain vaping..i suspect there are a couple different reasons for this. 1 because i like the taste of the juice im using and also because i am not getting the hit i am looking for due to my cheep knock off batts and clearo i am hoping the amount i vape comes down a bit when my new gear gets here. so i dp think it is probably like that for most. just like spending more money in the biginig than you thought you would because you are finding your sweet spot.
I was a pack a day smoker and I also used smokeless when I wasn't smoke. I pretty much vape whenever possible, but I find myself vaping nonstop when I'm driving and sitting around.
It seems to me I'm vaping more often than I used to smoke. I tend to chain vape at home a lot, but vape out & about as much as I used to smoke. A regular size carto in an 808 auto battery lasts me a little over a day. From what I've seen here apparently that means I'm a light vaper. Funny cause I used to smoke a pack a day. *shrug*
EDIT: And of course I inhale! Deep or not deep I'm not sure... I just inhale.
I find myself chain vaping, and then wondering how long I've been doing it. Unsettled me for a while, haha, but I kinda told myself that if I could chain smoke, without having to relight/put out/smoke it till it's done, then I would have. It's easier to stop vaping, so I kinda don't feel like I have to 'plan' out vaping like I did smoking.
I was sitting with the laptop the other night, and my husband asked "Do you ever put that thing down?" Uh ... yeah. But not too long ago I would have been sitting there with a cigarette in my hand and cradling my new bestest little friend is keeping the cigarette outta my hand.
I think I vape every 15-20 minutes or so (when not in a meeting or playing with the kid), but that's probably "aspirational." It's probably more like every 8-10 minutes.
I vape of and on pretty much all day long. I use it in public all the time to try to expose others to the possibility. I get a lot of questions I'm happy to answer and have never had a negative reaction.
I chain vape but even so I am vaping 1-4 ML a day depending on which device I am using. I dropped my nic down to 4 mg so I am not running into the overnicing some folks report.
