Nice Lizzie! I bet you feel so good when you do such a good job. So good that you deserve a vacation....say to, Michigan?

Seriously, I'm impressed!

Thanks, Q:)

Hey Lizzie, invest in a couple of adjustable bar clamps for holding things in place while you're working. I used two when I built the blueberry enclosure to hold a twelve foot 2x4 in place while I was screwing it to the vertical posts. That way you can line things up exactly where you want them and have them held, solidly, while working.

Good idea, Awsum.

You guys are scaring her away! It all works out Terry, you have the will and will find a way!

We didn't have a plow for the first few years, Mr. Q hooked a section of a log, that was kind of flat on one side, to the back of the pickup, then dragged that to moosh and push the snow so we could get down the driveway. We both had trucks/SUVs and it worked well enough. We did have to call a snow plowing service once or twice, but it wasn't too bad.

We do have to dress the driveway gravel too, but most years we can get by with just filling in the low spots or the curves, the gravel disappears there. Drainage is key to buying less gravel!

Yes, Rave just told me where there's a will there's a way. She said that because there's a snag in my plans. She sent me the pics and vids and I want this place so bad but like I said, there's a snag which I don't want to get into just now. I have to talk to some people before I know what's going to happen next.

If I know Terry, I doubt anyone can scare her away. She seems to be a pretty determined lady. Of course she'll figure it all out. I guess I was just free-associating all the care that goes into a house, starting with snow removal. Sorry, Terry, I didn't want to burst your balloon.

Nah, none of you have burst my balloon. Rave took some really good pics and vids and makes me want the house all the more but there's a problem that I have to work out. More when I know more.

I wouldn't mind there either but I'd rather be closer to Rave. :p

After watching Discovery, you must love really cold weather and a skidoo or snowcat is a must! That's way too darn cold for my tastes. Ever watch "The Money Pit"?

Around here, snowmobile season is MAJOR. They have clubs that maintain trails, groom the snow, set up signs, and, in general, live for the snow!! The eight-inch stop signs are gems, and are up all year.

I've been following a thread about rayon for wick material, rather than cotton or silica. I got a little bit, a 500' roll, and just rebuilt a T3, yeah I still have them to go with my CE3s, and it's really great. Tons of vapor and flavor. Rayon is not a plastic based synthetic but is made from cellulose, tree wood. It is more absorbent than cotton and has a similar burn temperature. If any of you have T3s hanging around, you can breath new life into them with a little rayon! I anyone wants a sample, give me a PM.
