Best idea....get someone else to haul the firewood!
An electric winch would be nice but even a cheapy costs three or four times what a hand winch costs and a hand winch doesn't need wiring or extension cords. I like the conveyor belt idea, too, but that needs someone at both ends, one to load and one to unload.

On another totally irrelevant tangent. A local TV station has had lip-synch problems for quite a while. I kept waiting for them to correct it. Last night I got really irritated and called them. Tonight's news they had Santa with his beard covering his lips, and made an oblique reference to the problem. It is ok now, with the audio even a tad ahead of the video (if you don't quite catch something, there is enough time to see the lips). I think my irritation showed when I talked into the message machine.

Our flat screen has an adjustment to get the audio and video in sync, a result of the video processing in the flat screen. Until I got it "just right" it drove me nuts (a short drive). Now, when the TV in the living room and bedroom are on, or the living room and kitchen, we have a echo due to the difference in audio timing.
AAH. Many people have advanced electronics. I don't think I have that capability on my dual use TV/monitor.
Tonight's photo has a Christmassy feel to me, even though it was taken in summer. I think it's the red and green.

I have the addresses of a few here and assume they have mine. I don't do FB, twitter or any of the other "social" media. My life isn't interesting enough to put anything on those places, plus I do like my privacy.
I can always tell when Celt is getting online here, the "likes" go up, LOL.
