Yes, "reply" quotes the post. The +quote is for muliposts.

Oh! I just figured out what that little green thing in the corner of the avatar is. It means you are online now. I put my cursor there, and a little message came up.

Alert is just a jumbled list of updates. Hover over "Alerts" on upper right, it'll show you links to what's been going on (somebody liking/tagging you, somebody replying in a thread you were in, etc.).

PMs are "Conversations" now, and you can access them in "Inbox," to the left of "Alerts."

Click on the red alert button and you will get a list of alerts.

Alerts tell you when you get a like or if someone quotes your post etc. You might want to go into your profile and change what alerts you want to receive or you will be inundated with them.

I see some people have their feedback rating under their avatar but most people don't. I don't get it. ???

Thanks, Terry. I went and changed the preferences. If it lists every Like my messages get, that would be long. Right after I changed the preferences, though, I still got a Like alert. Maybe it takes some time to register my changes.

Only supporting members can change their mood. Yesterday, only supporting members had moods - now everyone has one, but only supporting members can change them.
