Nope. Of course, we never went in for that kind of stuff, anyway.
When my sisters and I were in highschool we definitely liked to wear perfumes :) , but we knew not to during the days that honey was being worked. My Dad always saod it as a precaution and still to this day tells everyone not to spraying anything scented, because the honey will absorb the smell. We hardly ever used perfumes in the house anyways, because my mom had alergies toward it. We normally sprayed it outside before getting on the bus. So, I loved perfume when I was a teenager and in college, and I still like it now but I hardly ever wear it anymore.

One would have to wear a whole lot of perfume to affect the taste/smell of honey. And why wear perfume, the smell of honey overpowers all, anyway. Now, I could see the prohibition of scents in the bee-yard.

Well I am here in Brasher Falls, New York and we already spread half of Gramma's ashes. Tuesday will be the memorial and burial of the second half. Then the rest of our stay will be for fun and memories.

We made the trip in less than twenty hours. It is cold up here. 50 degrees is a big difference from mid to high 80s. Brrr! But we have a fire pit.

My Dad did it as a precaution, because he did not want to take the chance.
I have 3 sisters and with perfume and hairspray being used by 4 girls sometimes...
Why wear perfume? What can I say, we liked the smell of it and enjoyed wearing it.

    Sitting down, facing forward.
    'afternoon, Volties.

We finally got some rain last nigh and will probably get more this evening and overnight. It's amazing how fast things can go from brown to green when there's water on them. It rained hard enough to wake me up, there's a downspout near where I sleep, on the outside of the house, LOL.

I spent a depressing morning paying bills so now there's a trip to the post orifice with a stop at Wally World to pick up rice for Bo. He's having some "digestive" problems, again so he's on a bland diet. I'd love to know what set him off this time.

Celti, if you get into NYC try to visit Ground Zero. It's very moving and, at the same time, awesome to see that new building, for real, in the flesh rather than a photo or video.

The big problem is balancing enough rain without getting too much.

Any sign of the melons sprouting? One of the type I planted has sprouted but I don't remember which one went where so I'll have to wait to pick them before I know for sure, LOL.

    Your nearest hydrogen bomb.
We planted around 50 plants that we grew in pots and planted a few seeds more. Have no idea yet, we have checked them Friday some of them started growing from the seeds but we had some rain and colder temps last week, probably this week they will jump up because we are around 29-30C (84 to 86). Watermelons are far away and we have to go there by car.
The bad thing is that my brother mixed all the seeds and didn't used any labels so i have no idea which is which.

Tomatos seem to be struck by early blight but i'll use some copper sulphate and neem oil it might help.
