Wow, spring weather is so unpredictable. Hope you can stay inside and warm, sandysu.

I have to go out this afternoon to tutor, and then maybe shopping for groceries. It'll be OK, though. I don't think the snow will be enough to stop me. If I stayed in every time it snowed a little, I'd never go outside from December till April.

Has the party started yet? I don't see the chorus line of dancing girls. LOL

Wrong sex. Rave provided some guys for them. Look back a few pages.

Well, I just remembered that group of women dancers that Rave gave to Celtic. Does that count, Jerry?

HAPPY VAPIVERSARY CELTIC!

1 year is a long time and the biggest hurdle but you made it and it's all downhill from here.
Way to go! Woo hoo!

Here is your cake but sorry for the missing slice. I just couldn't help myself. :D

And of course we have to have firewords for such an event.

And I made this for you...well...uh...not really.
I made it 2 yrs ago and I didn't know you then but now every time I see it I think of you. :)

Oh crikeys - I forgot!

Here's some sunshine for you, Terry.

You too, Celti.
Heck, I'll share it with all of you.
I'm thinkin' that we could all use it right about now.
It's been a loooooooooong, tough winter!!

Just sayin'.

Crikeys  Thanks Rave. This might be the only sun I see today.

I hope you'll check in and let us know how the shots went.

I was thinking of that. What worries me is how they can sew into the surface and retain the waterproof qualities of the blanket. I have a guy who washes my blankets every spring, and I think he does repairs, too. I plan to ask him about it. But thanks for that other link. I could mail my blankets to them if this guy who will wash them can't fix them. They are too far away to drive over there with the blankets.

Meanwhile, a patch of duct tape may work for the rest of the season. I patched the first blanket and tomorrow, I'll take it back to the barn. I have to decide if it'll be cold enough for using then. It's supposed to warm up the next few days, so I might use the blanket with light fill and then when (not if) it turns colder, try the blanket I have here that I've patched.

You could use an iron on patch along the stitching and then maybe spray it with some water repellent.

Happy vapiversary, Celticluvr and Tmcase!!!! And may you have many more!!!

Thanks 0mg! :)

WOW!! You guys must have spent a lot of time preparing the aniversary e-cards. That was great.

I had mine the first week of March, when I was sulking. ;)

Congrats! Yay, another party coming up. :) Pick a day.

sewing really doesn't hurt the waterproof qualities much at all. If you are really worried about that, after it has been sewed, you can paint some plastic resin on the mend. Did you duct-tape it on both sides? She might rub off the duct tape and open up the hole if you tape it only on one side.

Good idea....
