OK, here's an interesting photo, which was hanging over our booth at a restaurant where Bill & I ate dinner this evening.



What made me wonder was, first, how if the man was being towed by a car, wouldn't he slip off the blocks of ice? Then I thought maybe he wore crampons for ice climbing on his shoes. Would that work? Last, it occurred to me that maybe the whole thing was posed to fool the viewer, and he was just standing still on the ice with ropes attached to a parked car in his hands. Anyway, I liked the photo because it made me contemplate possibilities.

Sandy - I love how you are always wondering about things. An inquisitive approach to life is admirable, shows a mind that isn't lazy, and makes life soooo much more interesting!

We stopped by a bay that used to have an oyster farm in it. The yellow flowers were neat. The yellow flowers were elsewhere all the way up the cost, as well.

We drove up Tomales Bay. I should say, down the west side, around the end and across the San Andreas Fault line and up the east side. We stopped at somewhere famous for oysters but it was super pricey and Hubby wanted fried oysters which they didn't have. Up the coast we went.

In one town we saw this incredible Victorian home.

I am working on my wicker furniture project this morning. Crystal is coming over to play my little pony and pick veggies but I don't have much time so we shall see what we manage to do.

I have to head to Carson City for hay and Costco and to drop veggies off to the in-laws.

Then, I broke a tooth a couple of weeks ago. I had my teeth cleaning/x-rays appointment yesterday and, of course, once they looked at the tooth, they determined that I need a crown. They are going to start that today.

Hubby got my fly fans over the doors yesterday. Today we shall see if they make a difference on the flies that get into the house.

I loved all of the photos, Lizzie! And your wicker project turned out really, really well! Don't ya just love making something out of cast offs?

Jerrys, I meant to tell you that ECF/Voltville are like the Hotel California, you can check in, but you can never leave.

Uh! Interesting documentary. Same thing exactly in Europe. Even worse in Asia-Middle east.

Still seems crazy that I've been doing this for six years without a single cigarette. I hope to celebrate with Terry today and tomorrow and BF over the weekend. Hopefully we can all get some fishin' in!!
