Evening folks. No need to wonder about me in a hurricane. I'll be fine every time. I've survived many. They bring the water tables back up and provide me with enough firewood for about two years. I've been up to a month without power, never missed a hot meal complete with fresh meat and seafood and taught my Eagle Scout son to do the same. A country boy can survive. I always gave my son a long leash too Rave and he has not disappointed me. Also very different from most his age group. Cept the girl he married from Detroit got quite a culture shock lol. We love her dearly but a country girl she isn't. Arthur provided us with some badly needed rain and a nice balmy breeze but that wuzz about it.


I think what you captured there is Rubus odoratus (purple flowering raspberry). It has no thorns and maple-like leaves and a raspberry-like fruit. Dunno for sure. They aren't native here.![]()
