Good morning, Voltniacs.

I finished painting the fence this morning so that was a big chore checked off the list

Yesterday, I just lazed around except for the part where I got some fencing up to keep the dogs out of the east side garden.

Hubby is trying to get new rocker arms on the Toy. The passenger side is done but the driver side is being a booger. I came in to cool off since it is 93 degrees out there and climbing.

Hey Volties. Summer has finally arrived here. It's suppose to be in the 70's all next week. Woo hoo! I took my bike out today for the first time in a couple months and had a blast. It's so nice to be able to ride without a lot of weather gear. I didn't even need my chaps.

Still house hunting but it's a waiting game right now. Realtor should get back to me this week on any properties he finds that fits my requirements then we go on a road trip to look at them. I'm not leaving without a house picked out and an offer made.

I still hate the way they clump smoking and vaping together like that. I wish they never started calling our PVs "e-cigarettes."

I wish we could get past it but on the other hand if they weren't called e-cigarettes myself and a lot of other hard core smokers never would have looked at them. It was the attracting factor to me and I still like cigalikes and tobacco flavors.

Good moning, Voltpeeps.

We had a lovely three day weekend. I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July weekend, as well.

We went to the BBQ on Friday and Hubby was the winner of the rib cook-off for a second time. I must say, he deserved it. The other entries were not even close to the quality and deliciousness of Hubby's ribs. He did them on the new smoker.

Saturday, we got almost nothing accomplished. I was tired

Sunday, was 100 degrees but Hubby got out there and did the rocker arms for my Toyota. I helped. It turned out to be quite the job. He also adjusted the tires which are wearing faster on the inside than the outside and the springs in the front. He still has to adjust the camber.

I'm definitely going to need new tires. That stinks but I knew it was coming. At ;least the new tires should wear better with the front end fixed.

Looks like the mosquito fish are alive!!!! Nice to know we aren't breeding mosquitoes in our pond.

I have an incredible list of things to chip away at before it reaches frying eggs on the side walk temps

I tried to extinguish mine, but I couldn't find out how to do that. LOL

It's rather obvious that those people don't even know what an E-cigarette is. I guess it's the trend these days, that if you don't know what it is, ban it !!!!!

If I got caught stealth vaping in there I'd probably do something like grind it against the palm of my hand and say, " Oh I saw the sign and extinguished it before I came in. See? It's not lit at all, totally out."

Wuzz, I finally figured out how to extinguish an e-cig. Remove the battery, throw it on the floor and stomp on it until it's useless.

Hi QRXT. So, I take it that they not only don't want us to vape in the mall, they want us to destroy our e-cig. I'm with you, I won't be shopping there either.

More likely a shorted delivery device, but even then the e-cig, itself, wouldn't catch fire. It would need more heat than a single, or even stacked, lithium battery can produce.

BTW: It is not just one mall - As of July 1st the New Laws in the State of Florida have banned the sale of "eCig" related items to minors, and they have left all the rest of the regulations against "eCig's" to local government/municipalities to issue . . . So anyone can put up one of these signs in their community . . .

Matter of fact, where I live - the management company had banned cigarette smoking in any and all buildings (including apartments) - tenants/guest could only smoke in designated areas . . . AND - For the past 3 months have told everyone that as of July 1st they will be banning all smoking on and around the property too . . .

So a couple of months ago they had the Florida State "Tobacco Free" program here to discuss the impending ban and how they could help people to quit smoking . . . AND - When they saw how many people were using "eCigs" they insisted that "eCigs" should not be used by anyone and banned also . . . Which of course did not sit well with "Me" and let's just say a discussion was had . . .

The worse part is that although there were many people here who took up vaping in the past few months with the impending ban looming over their heads . . . The management company didn't say or bother to say anything or inform people that after this meeting with "Florida Tobacco Free" program people that they decided to include "Ecig" in this ban too . . .

Matter of fact, I just learned that they actually snuck that clause in the new house rules that people had to sign for and stipulate they were going to abide by them without telling anyone they that it was there (AND - It has happened before . . . So - NO I never ever sign for them without reading them first, which of course they have a problem with, but tough) . . . Given this - Now people who vape anywhere in their apartment or on the property can be evicted if caught . . . (They even have their maintenance people do a monthly inspection on the pretext it is to provide maintenance when in fact it is to report people to the office if they notice anyone do anything against the house rules) . . .

OH YEA - They also installed a new camera system and actually mentioned in the newsletter they were being put up to protect people and make sure everyone followed the house rules now too . . .
