Sitting down, facing forward.
There was a similar bit on "Hill Street Blues", years ago. Henry brings in a sample in a small bottle, like an orange juice bottle and puts it in the refrigerator until he goes to the doctor in the afternoon. Howard walks over to the fridge, sees the orange juice bottle and takes a big gulp as Henry says "Hey, who took my urine sample?" The look on Howard's face, priceless.

My how Voltville has slid down the tubes, LOL.

OK, now to tell you the story of my day.

I went to the dentist. The car repairs were canceled because, due to the snowstorm yesterday, the parts didn't come in. I'll go tomorrow for that.

When I drove down to Ithaca, I was amazed to see that all the tree branches were covered in white, which was gorgeous and sort of mysterious.

I parked my car and walked a couple blocks to the dentist's office. On the way, I noticed some amazing iciicles hanging off houses.

After the dentist, on my drive home, I stopped on Rabbit Run Rd. to get some pictures of the amazing snow-covered branches. I didn't want to stop on Route 96 and get clipped by a car going by, so I had to pass up some spectacular shots for some that were safer.

Next, I decided to drive over the backbone to a local winery to get some wine to take to my brother and family. I'm going down there to stay while they redo my bathroon. Bill will stay home. On the top of the hill, the backbone, that separates the lakes, the snow-covered trees were even more spectacular, so I pulled off the main road onto Potomac Rd., near the top of the backbone, for more pics. The white trees had a surreal, hazy quality that was awesome.

And my favorite photo:

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little. Waaay TMI. :blink:8-o

What? You can wrestle a bear but you can't handle a little discussion about urine!

RAven - another world heard from. Glad they are going to cover your meds for another year!

Trit - That video was so funny.

Okay, after following Rusty around the yard for an hour, I finally got enough pee to take to the vet's office. Now, they want me to drive Rusty into the clinic to get blood work on Thursday morning. Geez, guys, if I had known you wanted to see him I would have made an official appointment and made the office staff follow Rusty around with a plastic dish.

Hubby's wound care clinic wants us to start paying them because we owe them lots of money. How much? Nobody is really sure but they think $1400 but wait.....they haven't billed our insurance...and that doesn't include the wound care on Friday or the one on Monday.

And, we have a max limit and then insurance pays 100% and we haven't received a bill or an EOB [Explanation of Benefits] from the surgery yet...or for the wound clinic for that matter. Nor have we received the billing and EOB for the MRI Hubby got either. For all we know, the wound clinic will be paid 100%

Of course, the wound clinic might be considered out of our area or some other goofy insurance thing and we might owe lots to the wound clinic.

We gave them $100 but I told Hubby to tell them that in the future we are happy to pay them when we receive an actual bill and/or at least an EOB from our insurance company.

The best medicine in the world has the worst billing system the world has ever conceived.

Amazing photos, SandySu.

I can't believe all the icicles on that house.

Not going to get into it. However, I just switched from a SSRI antidepressant back to an old-fashioned tri-cyclic. Need I mention that, being experienced with tri-cyclics, I forgot about the side-effect of constipation? Now taking my psyllium daily. :D

Betty Crocker's Oatmeal cookies in the 1950's cookbook. Chop the raisins and nuts up and you won't need psyllium. They taste good, too:)

It's been working for Hubby who is on pain killers for his boo boo.

For my good-night photo, here's one from today that tickled my funny bone.

It's great to start the day with a good laugh. Thanks for that! I keep waiting for a heavy snow here, but it just hasn't happened yet. However ... and this is a big however because it's a ways off, they are now predicting 8 - 12" of snow on Monday and another 3 - 5" on Tuesday. Hmmm ...

Um, is ketchup a vegetable?
Trying to get you guys on something a little less gross. Ewwww!

Welllll ... that all depends on weather or not you consider a tomato to be a fruit or a vegetable. Technically, I've read it's a fruit, but I ain't buyin' it. A tomato is a veggie, dangit!! Therefore, ketchup would fall into that category in my book.

Raven - Tomatoes are a veggie!!!! I'm with you. Therefore, ketchup is a vegetable. Besides, school districts all over America include it as a vegetable in school lunches.

I have to clean a house today and Hubby is going to the wound clinic. What an exciting life we lead:)

It's 26 chilly degrees outside.

Taffy [old goat] and Rosie [new goat] are butting heads. That's probably a good thing. It'll let figure out who's who in the new herd they are forming.

Y'all are quiet today. :?:

I spent the day doing some woodworking. I wanted to build a PV holder for my bedroom dedicated PV's. It's a lazy Susan design for 6 of 'em. I can't complete it until I get some eliquid bottles from China that will go in an area in the center to refill those PV's. I don't quite trust the manufacturers to get the measurements right, so I'll wait to complete it. Then I started another holder for my iSticks which stay in the living room. I'm a bit tired of playing dominoes with 'em. That's also on hold until glue dries. It was fun working with my drill press again. I missed it.

Other than that, I spent some time trying to photograph the bluebirds that were gorging on the hips of the multiflora rose outside of the window above my desk. I couldn't get shots through the screen of that window so I tried to get photos from the front door, but the little buggers flew away. :glare: So, I turned one of my color surveillance cameras toward the bush and spied on them that way.
