Hopefully the Moderators won't have a problem with a SketchUp image.

This is the mod holder just for my desk area. Don't count the holes.

Very nice - me - I still just use a shoe box and an old toothbrush holder. Made a fancy wood one once - not portable - the box easy - close it and off it goes into the next room...

I just gave up on holders. I did build a simple one that's on my end table and holds a few PVs and batteries. Shawn, That just wouldn't be big enough to get all the tools into that drawer. Heck, my CD welder is bigger than the drawer, LOL.

Tritium, my neighbor put up an electric fence to keep people from coming over the fence in his backyard and raiding his wood pile. I can't figure out why he doesn't use it around his garden to keep the ground hogs out.

Loved Putin on the weasel on the woodpecker, Tritium. That gave me a nice chuckle.

Marigolds are supposed to keep the deer and other vegetable garden devouring critters away.

It rain on and off all night and warmed up to37. This morning we got some weak sun and the temperature did make it to 50 but it's down to 45 again at the moment and raining again. The backyard is starting to look like the Great Lakes. The ground is still frozen so the water can't seep down so every low spot has water pooling in it. At least the ice is almost completely gone from the driveway. I'm sure that'll all change by tomorrow after the temperatures drop and it snows. We're supposed to get five to seven inches this time.

My snow has iced over. I could probably walk across it without leaving a track.

I hear mint plants are good for that too.

So I haven't been giving you guys weather reports, because it would've just ...... you guys off. "About 60°F and kinda sunny." Copy and paste every day. :p Honestly, I don't know how you guys do it. Whenever it dips down to 52°F, I'm wearing my fake furs INSIDE!

I just can't like that post. :glare:

Hah! Awsum electric fences usually work great with animals but humans know how to bypass them.

Ahhh, but a human under the influence in the middle of the night doesn't have a clue how he ended up flat on his .....

I think she may need a few more holes.

I'm not going anywhere near that one!

Sorry to hear about your cold spell Cindy. 86 here with three feet of sunshine. We're the warmest state in the U.S. atm, including Hawaii.

Good morning Volties. I haven't had much to say lately, but I'm here. I think today I will try to take a walk, it looks like we have a melt in the works. Man, I'm sick of looking at this snow, it never got warm enough for a melt all winter. Water is dripping off the roof as if it were raining, YAY!

My son sent me a link to this neat picture/story.

BBC News - Weasel photographed riding on a woodpecker's back

Wow! That's truly amazing!

Actually the weasel was on the bird because it wanted food (bird=food) and the bird is probably now in the weasel's belly./QUOTE]

The story went that the man who photographed it and his wife, who were out walking and taking pictures, scared the weasel away when the bird landed nearby. So the story has a happy ending. They also said that weasels don't usually go after woodpeckers, though they have been known to do it.
