moanin' Voltanoties.

We had a line of storms go through last evening. Lots of rain and some T&L but it had lost strength by the time it got this far east so it wasn't too bad. We have the doors and windows open and are enjoying a nice, refreshing morning.

I went to the chiropractor again this morning and feel pretty good, but he says to take it easy for at least the weekend. Maybe I'll fill some CE3s, fool with a new atomizer and work on a mod. Then again, I can always steam mop the floors, LOL.

I borrowed my neighbor's hugely powerful vacuum yesterday. I noticed that the canister was almost full, so asked him to dump it. A lot of grey in the canister, he is a heavy smoker. Re-vacuumed for good measure. Hopefully this will reduce my headaches. Went around the edges of floor with my tiny vac.

Retired my Vamo day before yesterday, and ordered another Nemesis. I notice myself changing toppers between my two mods, three mods are the proper level of contentment with me. Ω measurement between Vamo and ohm-meter is way off, and I think the VW was way off as a result.

I'm pretty sure that there are videos on YouTube on how to replace that 510 connector. The biggest problem is that the top cap is a press fit and a little hard to get it apart. If you have a bench mounted vice, or can "borrow" on for a few minutes, and a pair of Channel Locks it should be fairly easy.

My I stick eleaf - the carto can no longer screw in right. Hubby says it is toast. It hasn't even lasted a year and the battery part is still good. I am disappointed.

I love the shape and the color but I won't be buying any more.

Vacuuming - Check.

Sweeping and mopping - Check

Weeding - Check

Hummingbird feeders cleaned and refilled - Check

Laundry - Still working on that.

Bathroom - Still needs to be done but it is swept and mopped and ready to be cleaned.

I still have plenty left to do but I am ready for a break, maybe some lunch, and some hanging out time. The orioles are chattering excitedly over the new jelly in the jelly feeder.

Or you can put an old atty on it and wiggle it loose.

Hello Voltville. I been a pretty busy boy this week. Looks like it's going to be part of next week too. I don't know when I found time to work full time. I thought you were supposed to take it easy when you retired.

Being busy is good for you:)

You know my motto "Lots to do and less time to do it." Okay, I stole that from a movie.

No vice, no channel locks. That would also require a soldering iron.

I have an old base for an ego clearo, though. I don't really want to mess with it, unless I were desperate. I could order a replacement connector, though, to be ready for when I do get the ambition.

The connector you'd have to solder, but the top cap you'd just hammer back on.

These people have connection areas, with screw-adjustable center pins. And the ego to ego/510 adapter. Adapters But I am wondering if I just get another adapter would I still have problems with voltage drop? I will ask the question there, too.

Lizzie, if that was an early iStick, the 20 watt model, they are know for crappy 510 connectors. I ordered a replacement top cap for mine from ShapeWays and put it on with a Fat Daddy connector, better than new.

I don't think you could pull a Vamo top cap using an old atomizer, especially if the threads in the 510 connector are already toast. That would be like trying to drive a railroad spike with a tack hammer for comparison...a 510 versus a nominal 1 inch press fit, the 510 will let loose long before the press fit.

Nope, the clearo base is an ego.

Again, I'll side with the threads giving out before the press fit does. I've watched a few of the videos and there is some significant force required to get one apart. I even saw one guy use hammer on the pliers to get it started. Everything padded with rubber grippers, of course.

I tutored today, and more or less out of the blue, the girl asked about dry ice, so I got some info on it and put it together for something for her to read about. I learned stuff, too.

I still have to get the records/record player sheet together for the boy. It's complicated, and it's a challenge to make it simple enough for him but still understandable. More learning on my part.

Tomorrow, the farrier will be at the barn, and I need to be there so he can trim Maija's hooves. I'm still tossing the idea around of boots vs. shoes. After that, I'll go visit Harriet.

Sunday, Bill has off work, so I have to decide if I'll cook at home or if we'll go out to eat. Maybe cook at home for a change. We've been eating out a lot, and with a horse now, I should start economizing.

And little by little, I've been working on the horse portrait, though I haven't gotten very far. Gotta get busy with that -- probably Sunday.
