@awsum140 Appreciate the compliment on the housework when I also clean other people's houses. It is kinda hard.
@Uncle we are going to talk to at least two roofing companies to find out what it will take to do the roof in metal. I think we will need to remove the shingles. Then, tar paper or ice and snow shield rolled out and stapled in place.
No extra insulation. There is a skylight we are going to fill in since it lets in a lot of heat. If I can afford it, I want to put in a sky tube instead.
I'd like a sky tube in the kitchen and the other bathroom, as well.

Good morning, Voltites.
A chilly 22 degrees. We got the tiniest bit of moisture around here but the good news is the mountains are getting quite a bit of snow. The snow fall in the Sierras is more important than the actual amount we get here.
Our puppy should be available for pick up on January 17th through the 31st. I was leaning towards picking him up at ten weeks since it is such a long trip home but after refreshing my puppy knowledge online, I think 8 weeks is best. There is so much socialization to do and you need to get it done by 12 weeks. They need to meet lots of people and go lots of places during their fearless baby stage.
After Christmas I need to sort through my crates and cages to make sure I have every thing in order. Also, I need to buy some really good puppy toys if I don't have them here already. We want him to chew Kong toys, nylabones, and such, not the furniture and shoes!!!!
My friend says I can borrow a puppy playpen cage from her.

Lizzie, he is just the most adorable little guy! Just looking at the picture makes me want to drop to the floor and play with the bunch of them. Sweet little babies.
