Good morning, Voltpeeps.

Cash is having his big day at the vet. Yes, Mr. Humpy is getting neutered. Hubby is walking him around the yard on a leash so that he can't eat or drink anything and we are out the door shortly.

I hope this goes smoothly. The little guy is very cute but very busy and he is not going to appreciate being locked in a cage at the vet's office. I called around and the most reasonable rates for neutering are at our old vet office in Fallon. I told Hubby we needed to start going there again after the fiasco with Rusty at the vet in Fernley. This will be a good time to make the switch.

Cash is home, kind of high and a bit whiny but he is fine.
Treat him nice, and tell him it means he is no longer a pup, just a coming-of-age thing. He is all grown up now. (We lie a lot, poor little guy).

'moanin, Voltalytes.

So tell us all about your trip, Celti!

Nothing much going on here. I harvested the weed crop on the front forty yesterday, started the back forty and will be finishing the that this morning. I think we will be getting a new pup, Bo's breeder will be having another litter this month and if there's a fawn or red male we will be getting him. Since we'll be starting out with a puppy, besides all the training, we're probably going to feed him with a mix raw and kibble foods. Dogs and cats are both carnivores and their digestive systems are "designed" for raw meats, not kibble. There are some cautions with raw meats, but nothing too serious so we'll see how it goes. The big trick will be picking a name, and, no, "Sex" won't work!

Good morning, Voltmaniacs.

@celticluvr so, what did you do? what did you see?

Oh my, awsum, a new buddy. Hope a cute little puppy in your color is born.

Nothing slows Cash down. He is already busy this morning. I was very impressed that they filed down his nails while he was under. He's very hard to hold still for nail cutting although I have cut his nails several times. I think they care about the pets.

It didn't cool off much last night. It is still 70 degrees out there. I might be starting to feel better from having the cold. I hope so since I have cleaning jobs this week.

Lizzie, I think you'll find an air mattress is OK, but a little bouncy. We have one for a "spare" bed for guests and have used it, ourselves, as well. It does bounce when someone moves on it but is easy to get to just the right firmness. The SleepNumber is not bouncy at all, especially compared to a traditional innerspring mattress.

Being able to change the firmness is really a great feature and being able to change it on each side, independently, makes it even better. I like a firm mattress and Mrs. Awsum likes a softer mattress. Problem solved with the SleepNumber. Being able to vary that firmness is great, too. If I do some heavy work I'll raise the firmness and that seems to eliminate sore back the next day for me. Mrs. Awsum lowered her firmness the other day to eliminate a sore shoulder.

Yeah, a SleepNumber can be expensive, especially if you go for all the bells and whistles, but if you stick to a basic bed they're right there with the rest of the "popular" mattresses in terms of price.

Incidentally, that weed killer did a great job and everything I sprayed, even "woody" stuff, is dead. The next test is how long it lasts.

Thats great awsum! A new family member is always fun and exciting :) I just love puppies. I agree with you about meat in their diets. Sometimes I think about not giving mine dog food at all and switching to a more natural to them diet. I have always questioned what is in dog food and cat food. Maybe thats why there is a peak in animal cancers and diseases. I just wonder sometimes, ya know.

Cash sounds like he is a fun character to be around, and has a fun personality. I bet he is funny to watch!

The sleep number sounds great and maybe in a year or two it will be in the budget. Right now I am working on the deck, front porch, etc.

He is so cute. He seems to be losing his love for his blankie so hopefully we can find him a new nickname instead of Mr. Humpy:)

Your nearest hydrogen bomb.
How are you doing guys?
A friend came over (3 hours drive) on the weekend, be brought his damaged quadrocopter at home. I replaced the motors, installed a newer better gps unit with compass, i rewired all the connections and the telemetry devices plus installed a new on screen display for flight (see data on the video too).
Here is a pic during works

I reprogrammed everything and he installed the rest once he got home, no flights yet because we had some rain.

I also repaired his tube amplified on the volume control and installed blue LED's on the logo, it was an ugly green.

The amp is Chinese and they used Greek characters on the logo just to make it cool :D :D The logo doesn't seem to make any sense it's just characters lol.

I also took a pic with ebay clothing (only the shirt was older), that's a 10$ chino :D Quality sucks because something happened to the flash of my camera.

And a recent pic from work, now we sit again.
