Hope everyone had a nice evening and has a good New Year, especially Wuzz and the Mrs. Extra vibes going to Tritium as well for getting a lifeboat when abandoning ship!

We did jazz up our soup and bagel dinner yesterday, added an egg roll, LOL.

Yes, he appears to be developing an escape plan, as much as he hates to have to do it. That is what an abused spouse has to do. :sneaky:

In the insult to injury department....

Besides both having colds, breakfast this morning was a disaster. Normally, we have bacon and eggs on Sunday morning, our only egg day. This morning I took a forkful of nice, over easy, egg just ahead of Mrs. Awsum and it tasted like Pine Sol. Seems the egg carton had some liquid in it from the floor at the store being cleaned. Yuck. At least I saved her from having the same "pleasant" experience. It's amazing that the flavor penetrated the egg shells like that. Mrs. Awsum just went out to get more eggs so maybe tomorrow will work out better.

To All in Voltville . . .

Although I have only been lurking and not posting as often as I would like to - how could I not stop by and wish everyone . . .

As Always Sending . . .

"GOOD VIBES" & "Healthy Thoughts"

To One & All . . . :D

AND - While "We" all have an uncertain future ahead of "Us" - I hope that all you seek will come to "You" & "Yours" during the coming year . . . Cheers

I never realized that eggs are THAT porous!

Leo made some major progress with the ramp today. I walked him at about 10AM in the backyard and when we came back toward the house I got the ramp out and put it on the deck stairs. Mrs. Awsum coaxed him down it, twice, with treats but after that he went up and down without much of a problem. Once he saw us walk up and down it he seemed to gain confidence in it.

So then I put it on the tailgate of the Jeep. It did take a little coaxing/showing to get him to go up the first time, but he got it and ran right up after a little time. The problem then became getting him out of the Jeep because he wanted to go for a ride. We'll work on it some more later today, it's a pretty nice day.

Some photos from another walk, after lunch -

I should have stooped over a bit to get a better angle but just getting him to stay still long enough is a problem all by itself.

So cute, "I'm a big boy and I want to go for a ride."

RenoLizzie, I am in East TN. We can see the Great Smoky Mts. from our neighborhood. Often, in the winter, we can see snow on the mountains, but we will have none.

Leo is such a pretty boy. I love dogs.

I have heard that it is very pretty in Tennesee.

TN is very pretty lived in middle TN off of 96 in Franklin for along time. But if your allergic to ragweed certain grasses and oak you will be sick for most of the year. In 2010 I just could not take it anymore and with the housing market collapse south Fl became really cheap to relocate to so I changed my latitude and greatly improved my health could not be happier with my relocation but does miss things that Tn had to offer that current state and location does not.

Good morning.

TN is a pretty state. I believe TN and CA are the only states with designated titles for different sections. Northern and Southern CA and East, Middle and West TN. East and West TN have big differences...geographically and politically.

I have lived in MI, IN and KY, but I couldn't wait to get back "home".

I like to say NOrthern Nevada since the climate and fauna are very different here than in the Las Vegas area.
