your such cutie pie tina...yeah I hide under the blanky ...with a knife... ( TRUE)

Hiya Deb! Sorry I didn't see you there when I was posting! I actually had a friend in high school that would hide a kitchen knife under her pillow at night. I didn't blame her one bit! There was a shortcut to the other side of the block, right behind their house next to her bedroom that she shared with her sister. You could hear all kinds of creepy people out there at night. Mainly drunks who were walking home from the bar down the street. I don't have anything for protection, just my blanky! ;)

I should really think of something for protection! We have a bunch of box cutters around! :p My husband does have a hidden knife collection, but I'm not sure where he keeps it. I have a few decorative knives that could work, though. I'm more interested in a Glock, myself. My husband finally softened up on having guns in the house. Of course, I'd have to learn how to fire it and take a safety course. I want to get one soon, so I can pass the background check. I'm kind of scared that if they pass the stricter laws and find out that I have Bipolar Disorder, that they'd automatically decline me.

oops hi tina..

Hi again!

I'm so glad I don't live where I think I've got to hide or have arms for protection. Around here, you can assume you're safe, though there have been a few break-ins to cars with expensive stuff left in them overnight. It helps that the chief of police is my landlord and lives right behind me, but I guess that isn't total protection. Even so, no one has tried to break into my apartment, and I don't expect it. I like living where I can feel safe. I can go out at night without worrying other than that with no sidewalks, cars might not see me and hit me. I got a reflective vest to wear if I want to walk after dark.

I used to live in Brooklyn in NYC, and I never got used to feeling unsafe. I'm glad to be away from that.

Good night, all. This photo is of Taughannock Falls, which you can't see because of the mist. I went there one clear day only to find a bank of clouds hiding in the gorge, totally hiding the falls from the viewing platform above them. But I thought the mist was so different and magical that I took a picture of the falls hidden.

I don't trust our neighbors to the west of us or behind us. Too much traffic going in and out of their houses, and it seems to be a different person every time. The ones next to us would sell "candy" to kids in the park for a living. At least that's what they told my husband. Once they moved out and across town into the "Hood," they were arrested for selling drugs. Don't know why they weren't arrested when they lived next door. We think they are immune to the law or something when they live with their Grandma. Her Grandkids run up here to Wisconsin to live with her, from Chicago, to avoid law enforcement. One of the Grandkids stole my husband's identity and I had proof of it. Gave all the information to the police and they did nothing about it! My Uncle warned me not to mess with them, as he knows their Grandmother through going to church with her. He used to drive the church van to pick her up every week. They also hoard animals. They got caught twice by the Humane Society for keeping dogs tied up out back on a short leash, with no food, water, or shelter. I don't know why the Humane Society can't go inside or doesn't, as they have many more animals inside that they don't care for. The landlord hires the same guy to fix up things inside the house that fixed things inside the house my husband used to live in before we met and this guy talks to him. He told him that they are hoarders and their house is such a mess, that you can only walk through a small path of junk. There's also a lot of bird poop on the floor, as they don't clean up after them when they let them out of their cage. I could go on and on, but I think I've told enough about the situation, as it is.

Anyway, I do hope you have a good night! Rest well, SandySu!

The wabbit is up out of his hiding hole (I prefer this to a blanket). Put on some Dunkin Donuts fresh ground coffee for all ya all (Southern Saying) and received an e-mail from Wizard Labs saying my Double RY4 is back in stock. Unfortunately 25% of the other flavors I need are now out of stock. I love WL prices, but they are becoming so popular that they are constantly out of stock on many favorites. Anyway, I ordered some alternate flavors and I am going to try Graham Cracker, Earl Grey Tea and Juicy Peach with some of my DIY mixes.

Mrs. Wabbit will be "sitting" with a friend's mom who has Alzheimer's so she can get some time out of the house, and I will be "home alone" hiding under my blanket  Just kidding and spoofing you gals. It is VERY hot here in the East, but I prefer it to the cold of winter any time. I need to do some mild house cleaning while Mrs. Wabbit is out, check on my garden, vape, sleep, eat and watch some TV. Just a very exciting life for an old rabbit.

Have a great Saturday everyone and I will be checking in off and on all day.

Good Morning Wabbit, Awsum and Tritium. The menz R here:)

Well, the overnight temp was down to 55 degrees and it looks like it might be 94 degrees today. That is at least within the realm of reason. Hubby and I have lots to do all of it involving manual labor. Hang lattice, insecticide a couple of trees, lay the wood chips in the island, finish the last bit of painting.

Good morning Volties! I love Dunkin Donuts coffee... Thanks Wabbit! :)

It's another hot sunny day here and I'm loving it. Spanky and I did our morning walk before the worst of the heat so all is well. It will be the normal inside housework for me today. Then it will be browsing my favorite vaping websites to see what I need... well maybe not what I need, more like what I want. ;)

I'll be checking in here throughout the day so I hope everyone has a good one... later!
