I once owned an authentic svoemesto kayfun Lite-Plus V2. I bought this atty for $110 from a company in Germany. I had problems with it gurgling ever since day-one. No matter how it was wicked, and no matter how many times I installed new O-rings in it, it would start gurgling after a short period of time.

Then I purchased (3) EHPro kayfun Lite-Plus clones that cost me about $10 apiece. These little jewels have never leaked, gurgled or flooded, and I use them daily.

There is an old saying .... "you get what you pay for". In most cases this is true, but as far as most vaping hardware is concerned, I don't think it applies very much at all (at least from what I have seen).

For someone who grew up on predominantly American made products when China was just selling cheap tourist souvenirs, that logic isn't very convincing nor compelling.

But China has come far. Turns out I bought a water pressure washer a couple of years ago from Northern Supply Co that had a Chinese clone Honda engine on it. It just.stopped.suddenly and without warning one day while using it and it was just out of warranty. Normal engine combustion had detonated a hole in the top of the cylinder !!!

You see, the Chinese are WONDERFUL at cloning/copying stuff. Just wonderful. But, they apparently have no idea about metallurgy and maybe other stuff. But they make wonderful copies. Could fool a ton of folks.

The Chinese does to know about metallurgy? ORLY?
During WW2, the Chinese made swords for the Japanese officers and soldiers, as it was illegal to make swords in Japan.

The Chinese also make the iPhone.
I'm guessing you use a Motorola, right?

Yeah I'm with you on that one! For the price of some shipping I would expect to have my product delivered inside a Fabergé egg, by the entire England football team on a gold cushion, while the Philharmonic orchestra serenaded me in the background.
I will settle for the England team without Rooney...

I have a Tobeco Velocity clone and I love it. It makes me enjoy vaping more, which helps keep me vaping instead of going back to smoking again.
If the authentic one had been in the $30-40 range, I would have bought that instead. Sorry but $115 for a single RDA is not currently and never will be in my vape budget. Especially when I can get the same performance for $15. Hell I could get a new mod, batteries, charger AND a Velocity clone and still pay less than $115. Actually I just noticed the V2 of it is $125. If you are the type of person to always buy Authentic on principle or some other reason that is fine. I am not going bust on people for buying Authentic stuff, if $125 is a fair price to you, that is great! I encourage anyone willing to pay more for it to do so. If it helps out the original company and makes you happy, then it's a win/win. I just ask the same in return...

What about items that are almost impossible to acquire?
M-Atty - 130$ (list price) IF you can find one for sale - 800$
Pico RTA - 125$ I've seen two sites that carry them for RRP (sold out almost immediately) and three that are charging almost 250$.

As a modder, if you are going to limit the production of an item, you deserve to lose the profits from folks that would otherwise buy an authentic product. If you are unable or unwilling to meet the demand, someone else will.
