Morning all you early risers. It was so good to be home, I went to sleep at 4pm, got up at 8pm and ate, went back to bed until 1am and then unpacked, fell back asleep at 2am and slept until 8!! Tired, you think? I feel like a new person this morning but I look like hell. I need to fix that.
I came home to find Mystic Topaz waiting for me. This watercolor is my new favorite tip. I'm a horrible photographer and didn't do it justice but it's got amazing color. It ranks right up there with my other favs like Rocky Mountain High, Shells and Pearls, segmented wood, and about 25 others. Meet Mystic:
So, we're going to an ice festival today in Cripple Creek. The entire Main Street will be large ice sculptures. I'm looking forward to the martini luge sculpture. It's supposed to be 50 degrees....we'd better hurry. LOL

Morning Dale and Chooch! Yeppie it's the weekend! It was a long crazy week here! It is the end of the six weeks grading period and I have students, parents and coaches on me wanting to know what the kids can do to pass on the last two days of the six weeks!
My answer, they could have studied the past 5 weeks!
I don't want to get out of my PJs all weekend!
I have been considering pants with elastic waistbands for around the house! This weekend might be a good time to hit Wallyworld!

OMG Ms.C! That tip is beautiful and where you live is so pretty! Maybe it's time for me to move! Get some rest lady! You deserve it!
Ha ha! After a big meal I put on my pj pants! Truth be told I live in my pj pants as soon as I walk in the door from work! That way no one can bug me to leave the house!
Problem is I have to wait till dark to go get the mail! Yep, I need some comfy denim pants with elastic!

Chili, at one time my ex-inlaws thought I should teach. The problem you brought up in your post was one reason why I never even considered it. I have no patience with willful stupid......I wouldn't have lasted long in that job.

Haha Chooch. We are so alike. I can't deal with willful stupid either. Part of the reason we moved from the Deep South.
It's such a beautiful day here and has been for 2 weeks. These 50 degree days are melting my snow though! Sunny, sunny, sunny. Reminds me I'll need sunscreen today. You can get sunburned at these high elevations in a red hot minute.

Yeppers, Ms.C. We always came back from CO ski trips with "sun kissed" faces in Jan. & Feb.......even though we lived in FL!
Chili, I went to men's dept. at Wally's and bought some plaid fleece pj bottoms and wear them with long sleeved T's and a fleece vest. Have no problem going to the mailbox.

Chili, I have a collection of what I call house pants [emoji2] Some are lightweight flannel and some are light weight material 3/4 length. Only thing I wear around the house with a sweatshirt in the winter and Tshirt in summer. And, I do go to the mailbox in them. Of course, we are out in the country [emoji12] Lol

Chili, I too get in my pj bottoms as soon as I get home and for the very same reason, so I don't have to go anywhere, but I go outside in them all the time...I figure if people can go to Wally World in them, then my neighbors can put up with me for a few secs!
