Ha! Momma, just got out of the shower at 6 p.m.!.....I got bored and a hot shower fixes the chill. Have to remember to keep bathroom door closed though to keep the heat in. Boy, was I slow in figuring that one out. Yep, cold weather coming for this weekend.....I already use the little ceramic heater where I sit in the kitchen. Looks like I'll have to break out the longjohns!

You need a couple of clingy lapdogs to warm ya up. Mine won't leave my side. Cant even go to the bathroom with out at least two following me[emoji12] LOLAnd when I lay down all are right there to snuggle. Lol

Momma, I'll stick with a couple of afghans or electric throw for the time being. I've gotten use to leaving town without worrying about our pets care.....but you're right about them providing warming comfort and loving companionship!

It's been so cold here, too! I think for us, we get to warm up a little this weekend. I hope so. The wood stove has been going pretty much constantly all week.

Mommab, glad you got a nap in and lots of little cuddler's to keep you company.

I haven't wrapped a single thing. Think I'll wait until the last few things get here so I can do it all in one shot.

angel, hope you find some stress relief soon.

I won't have tips until Saturday... but boy are they pretty!

jh - I've never had butter cake either. Man it looks good.

Thanks chooch! Seems like it's been way too long! I've been busy doing house-wifey things. You know... like 'really' cleaning. I'm STILL sorting through my sisters things and somehow the stacks don't seem to be getting smaller. I guess they are. It's all in one small room now, so that's progress. Maybe I should start sending out 'prizes' with each tip purchased?

Coooolddd here. I don't think it got above 10 degrees all day. Tonight, we are in a high wind warning for up to 75 mph winds on top of the cold. That should create some drifts! The house is well insulated though and we have an electric blanket. Providing the power stays on! I'm in my new fleece pj's and cozy right now. Except I'm craving hot chocolate for some reason.

We do Chooch and we have a generator left over from out hurricane days. Our utility lines are buried rather than overhead so we're safer than most. It's going to warm right back up tomorrow and through the weekend. Maybe we'll be able to get up our driveway if it melts a little!
