Oh how sweet!!! LOVE THAT!! I hear they have wonderful personalities, and are great to have as pets.
Love that hockey video Lori...that's why I love dachshunds so much...they are just so darn cute...that's why they get by with so much!...Rita may have been oblivious to the cat, but you can bet it drove that cat crazy.

Sometimes celebrating in a different week helps. Why there was one year I decided my birthday should be 4 months later.........Worked out pretty good too.

Just keep celebrating 55! There's no law that says how many candles you have to put on the cake. 
Tomorrow is my oldest dau's birthday. I've started her counting backwards.......She's 4 yrs. younger than you.

Took me awhile to catch up, but I made it!
So glad Robin is home and doing well! That was great to only have to be emotionally involved and worried for a few minutes, just until I got to the post that she was found and home.
Glad some of you are getting a little rain and cooler weather. That's what it's doing here. Won't be long until you can catch the scent of Fall on the air.
My mums are starting to bloom now, so it's just about time! (I LOVE autumn!)
I've wondered about the pillow too, so will be waiting hear updates on it. I am soooo pillow picky. I grew up on a feather pillow, so need one that I can scrunch up where/how I want it. The one I have now it great! But I am worried that it's going to wear out before long. I've had it about 10 years! I wish I knew what it was called. Got it at Bed Bath and Beyond... was about $40 back then. Worth every dime! Works for me for back or side sleeping.
