Where about to get hit by the next feed band,I'm just glad we don't live on one of those low lying streets.Florida is about as well prepared for a hurricane as Louisiana was before Kathrina.

Splat, even in the hills of TN we have low lying streets that get flooded every time a major rain storm hits and before TVA installed the dam, all of Chattanooga would get drastically flooded out on occasion by the TN River.

I love those things too Splat, and they are impossible to find around here.

See...emphasis on before they installed the dam.Florida hasn't done a flipping thing.
I understand if you wan't to live right on the beach you take that risk, near a river they same thing but we have have whole parts of the city under water every time it rains because the sewer system is so old it just can't cope but again it is the wealthiest neighborhood and god forbid they should be inconvenienced by torn up roads und building noises.
there properties rise like hills out of the water and the surrounding places where people of lesser means live get flooded out of there homes.

Hi chooch and dale. Glad you did't get alot of rain chooch. The storm teetered on the edge of us all day. Mostly got wind and a little rain. Just a few miles south of us got tons. Looks like it is moving out to sea, hopefully.

Don't mind a little rain, Momma. Just not a "dump" and some areas could use it as they're in drought........IF only we could control the weather and everyone got what they needed and not too much. Glad the storm missed you.
