We are in Gatlinburg, TN for a little getaway. It's nice and relaxing but I do miss my little pack. Our Sudanese son, William stays at the house and spoils them as bad as I do. So I'm sure they are good [emoji6]

Good night and sweet dreams [emoji4][emoji99]

Hey, Kayte. :) Good to "see" you. :D 'Fraid can't help you with DIY as all I've been doing so far is cutting what juice I buy locally in half or more. To vape "full strength" is too much anymore and that may be due to better atomizers and my own coils with cellu cotton. :|

Hi everyone! I've been staying caught up here, just haven't been posting for awhile. We've been busy trying to find our way through all the goings-ons. ;)

Hope you find just the right car Angel and that you love your new faucet, chooch! It's so much fun to get to change things like that. Unless it's a 'have to', emergency thing. That's not so fun. ;)

mommab, hope the test comes back all clean.

Chili, I haven't made any juice yet, either. I'm determined not to buy my norm again, so I'll have no choice eventually. I bought a few bottles of flavoring from MtBaker, but they're no longer selling it. :( Can someone point me to a couple of good places to buy from? I also need to find a tobacco flavor that is super mild (it doesn't actually taste like tobacco. It's just kind of 'smoky'.) I and a friend like MtBakers USA Blend. I've got to figure out how to make my own.

Kayte there are several that I have ordered from.

Bull City Flavors - Best Prices on Flavoring

Wizard Labs

Perfumer's Apprentice

Plus you really need a juice calculator, I have used this one with excellent results.

eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator

Here is a good site for recipes. e-liquid-recipes

That last one you will have to google it won't let me post the link.

Good morning Chooch and all the Mountain!!!:)

Yes chooch I have used some of the recipes, I'm not quite sure what you mean by blends.
When I started DIY I just jumped in with both feet.
I had already bin punching premade stuff together, you know a juice you buy and you end up not liking I would add something like a custard or vanilla in with it and end up with something I could vape so I didn't end up wasting money.

DIY is really not that hard, I do take precautions, wearing cloves and safety glasses.Nic is always the last thing that gets added and by then all else has bin cleared away and I use a 9x13 inch pyrex glass dish to set the bottles in and then add the nic from a separate 60ml glass bottle with a syringe to the juice.Should there be spillage it is contained and easy to clean up.
Yes I was nervous the first few times but as long as you keep safety in mind and don't get careless all is well.:)

Hey, Splat. :) By "blends" I mean all flavors are already mixed in one bottle for a certain flavor mix (blueberry pancakes?) which one purchases, and only have to put a percentage of that into your base pg/vg and nic. and you're done.

I have been mixing my own base with nic. and without. Am comfortable handling all. Would be easy peasy putting a squirt or two of concentrate "blend" into a 30-60 ml bottle. Kind of like flavors for sodas, lemonade, Tang? Flavors already blended to achieve a certain taste. :D

You are cracking me up chooch...couple of squirts indeed.. very legere but you can squirt.
I would rather measure the proper percentage, my goodness how nerdy does that sound.;)

Thing with me is how much more would it cost for that pre mixed stuff, if ya don't have to watch the pennies till they squeal and it is more convenient then go for it.:D

Ha! Just wondering if you had heard of them or used them, Splat, knowing full well they'd be more expensive to buy than making "from scratch." Tried that with cake baking too and did much better with the "box" cake. :p I also am trying to prepare for an easier time of it in my 80's which ain't too far off.

You haven't failed until the top layer of the birthday cake slides off onto the table .......Fortunately, the candles weren't lit and actually stayed in place. THAT one will never be lived down. ........It did taste good though and the story adds a few laughs at family gatherings.

    Hi Kayte
Glad to see you pop in.
I too was a buyer/fan of the MBV flavorings, and glad I'd stocked up on some of my favs.
Everyone was saying that flavors will be around, but something just told me to get some.
I've read that some feel that MBV used mostly Flavor West flavors, so you might look around at those.
Some said they even used the same names as the FW flavors, but I can't say for sure if they did or not.

I don't do any tobacco, so I can't help you out there. :(
You did it! I'm sure I found what I need on their page! YAHOO! Thanks so much Lori!
Hi kayte, Good to see you pop in and I everyone is well.

I have tons of flavors, some being tobaccos. I love experimenting. Lol Different brands. Have you tried any RY4? It's a mild tobacco with sweet undertones.

I have tried the RY4's and never could settle on really liking one. Doug had a few that he liked, so I may need to look into those for him. :)

I have some RTA's on the way and I'm hoping that I'll be wanting to cut down on the nic with those. Make my stash last longer. ;)

Hi!!!! I remember you. (All of you...... ;))

Kayte, good to see you here, and by that I mean REALLY good to see you here.

I'm not one that can advise much on DIY cuz welp...... I detested doing it. Not my thang, but I can reply to one question you asked.

Do you like cellu cotton better than the Japanese Cotton?

    In a word, YES Ma'am!!!!

There are about a bazillion battles between cottone and rayone, just as there were between volts and watts, Provari and Darwin, Clone and Authentic. Have at it kids.

At the end of the day, all I want is a good vape.

'Morning, Splat. :) Your coffee looks like desert!

Kayte, have never used Japanese cotton. Used cotton balls for a couple of months then found the cellu cotton thread on ECF. Been around 2 1/2 yrs using the cellu wicking from Sally's Beauty Supply. Think it's cleaner tasting and more forgiving than cotton. :thumb:

It's "Hump Day", Mountaineers. Make it a good one.

    Good morning mountain [emoji2][emoji477]️

Hi splat, chooch and dale. [emoji4]

Another cellu cotton vote here. Better wicking and flavor. And it last a little longer. I have organic cotton that I have used on occasion. I always jerk it out of the coil snd stick cc back in [emoji6] Just remember that if you use it kayte, to use more than organic cotton. Stuff the coils tighter because it does not expand. A rule of thumb is that you want it to slightly squeak as you run it through the coil.

Have a great day everyone [emoji2]

Ya know how it goes chooch, I needed something with a kick,;) call it liquid breakfast.:D

I started with organic cotton balls, then cellular or rayon cotton and I tried Koh Gen Do.
Rayon it is, the big box from Sally's, like chooch I like the taste or lack there of .:)

Kayte, soooooo glad you found what you were looking for!!
Now hopefully it will be the same, or close enough to what you've had from MBV.
    Which flavors did you get?

Another fan of the BIG box or Cellu Cotton (rayon) from Sally's. :)

    Morning MHM
