Ahoy all, happy Thursday!
Getting back up to speed here after an extended equipment outage. It's good to be rolling along again!
The DNA30, yeah, not sure what to make of that. When designing a mod there are so many factors to consider such as what is the maximum amperage possible vs wire diameter and wire strand size/number of wire strands and length of wire... Probable operating temperature, duration of current load, current capabilities of hardware and emergency venting paths are some of the factors that come to mind.
Another very, very important factor is the capability of the regulator device used to provide stable power. The guys designing the DNA boards seem like capable chaps and the people who make the board (Dimension Engineering) must also have engineers to approve designs and look for flaws. Still, I think that 10 amps might be pushing limits too hard. I'm gonna wait and watch on this, time will tell.
Have a great day!
