Just curious! Has anybody tried calling the shop? Gotten to talk to anybody? I've just tried emailing. So curious as to whether calling would be a better approach.

In late july i made a practice of calling weekly if i hadnt received a email response i had waited more than 3 days for. Every instance i called it went to voicemail/message machine. I never got to talk to a real person, but i noticed whenever i called, id get a response within the week.
As another person mentioned. I hope he is in good health. But if he is. There are people who need information on their orders and an upfront and honest explaination or apology as to what has happened or compensation for their loss. Not excuses or lies.
I feel lucky to have received my boxes and i do love them. But i feel for the people who are in limbo without information or have been had.
Before i got my boxes i was in the dark and almost 2 months past due without reliable information. And i was worried because the conflicted shipping lies i had in my mailbox. I even googled the marcus's name and hometown to make sure he haddnt been involved in a car accident or arrested. At that point i was worried about my investment. Seeing the state of things now i feel lucky to have received my product at all.
I wish all of you good luck with getting your products or legally persuing. At this point theres nothing i can do or say that i havnt stated previously stated.
If your looking for a good reliable bottom feeder id go another route. If you choose this one. Buyer beware.

Well damn, these were on my future order list, those box mods are very cool. I wasn't going to order tomorrow or anything, but I was very interested, the wood work he was doing was outstanding.

The mods are incredible. The customer service seriously went from A++ to F in a matter of months as of late. I really hope Marcus is OK.

I think he just took on a little more business then he can chew and is hard at work completing orders.

If you notice boxes are constantly showing up on his site. I just bought a regular box for trying with Sub Ohm vaping and I received a tracking number a day later, I assume that it'll ship within 1-2 days of tracking.

The biggest complainer is one person from Malaysia. Shipping internationally is confusing. There is a strong possiblity that it shipped and was lost or confiscated by customs. I used to be in E-Tailing and 99% of my problems were with international orders. Eventually I stopped taking them. Just shipped to the 50 states. I ran into too many scammers and customs issues etc....

The problem with being a small business is that if you spend too much time answering inquiries, that's time that could be spent in manufacturing and shipping the product.

I'm positive that right now it's safe if you are in the United States and Order a Box pictured on the site. I put my money where my mouth is and just bought one. But if you are looking for custom box and in a hurry than probably I'd wait until Marcus completes his backlog.

That's good to hear that he's okay. :)

I quite understand that he's got many inquiries and probably took on more customs than he can handle (though, didn't he post on his site that he only takes 10 custom orders at any one time in an effort to NOT be backlogged?)?

But leaving people in the dark for weeks/months isn't any way to go about it. I hope things can get straightened out soon. I absolutely love my Bogger. But I admit that I do feel for some of his customers who have not yet heard from him.

If it were me,I would not sell international for those reasons.When I was selling a lot of classic car parts on e-bay I would occasionally ship to Canada,but nothing more.Customs can be a pain for sure.I think a total lack of presence here and on Facebook has been a cause for concern for many.I will wait this out a bit.I would like another Bogger.

I usually agree and enjoy your posts but take exception to this one, at least two Posters had concerns for his health & well-being. Since he's "Fine", but has "more business than he can chew", as a minimum he should at least take a couple of hours One Day, posting on his site, thread and Face Book page; Due to the back-log of Custom Orders, no new Custom Orders will be accepted until further notice, Maybe include stock orders.

There is no excuse, except for health reasons, not to respond to your customers inquiries after they've spent ~$200 + dollars of hard earned money, it's good business sense and a courtesy they deserve.

As for the mailing of products, I received a Tracking Number(TN) as well, 7 days later I had no product and the TN wasn't recognized by USPS. After a couple of e-mails I finally received an answer, he was "unhappy with the Finish and re-lacquered the Box.", I'm o.k. with that but an e-mail would have prevented anxiety... and a lot of cursing at USPS. When my BOXES were mailed, I received no notification or TN, just a surprise in my mailbox.

Finally for "The biggest complainer from Malaysia", it doesn't matter where he's from He deserves a bit of help and a Tracking Number at the very least, not having a negative Face Book entry removed from the Modder's site, which means the Modder has the time to monitor his Face Book Page... interesting. Once his problem is resolved, stop selling over-seas if it's a hassle (I'm guessing he still does, WHY?).

I just wish I knew what was going on. The end of June I contacted Marcus about a box I had bought, but wanted upgrades. Communication was stellar! Shipped it in, got the upgrades, and had it back within 2 weeks start to finish (and this also included 4th of July weekend).

Fast forward just over a month: i can't get an answer on where my bottles are. It's only $30... But it is MY $30...

When it takes almost a week to update to shipped on an in-stock item, then a week after it was "shipped" via 3-day priority, it still isn't there. No responses to voicemail or e-mail.

Like I said, i was VERY pleased with my first transaction, and now this.

I voiced my concern for Marcus, and that concern was squashed when another poster informed us he is "fine".

I'll wait another 24hr for a response before initiating an investigation through my bank.

Hi Kevin, I apologize we had another hard drive failure on our server on the 15th so all of our automated order updates were completely out of whack. I am sending you 5 more bottles right now and here is the tracking number for it: (removed for security). when the other ones show up just keep them if you can use them.

After irwanmusa started complaining to misty. Misty approched marcus and marcus was asking for me as the original purchaser on behalf of irwanmusa to write to him(You can't be the first to write to me?...?). So, emailed him at 1530 GMT+8 and haven't got any reply while Xobeloot already got his reply? C'mon Marcus. What is the real problem?

Have you tried contacting him?

I may have been out of line, but i did suggest to him that a bit of face-time here would go a long way right now.

I can't tell anybody what to do or what not to do.

Personally, i will monitor this thread for a change in practices, and if things improve, i'll go ahead and order the stabilized box I want. Though, not until I feel confident that my money is going to prove well spent. By this, i mean that not only will i have a great box (i do love these things), but also great, consistent sales and service support.

The only thing I'll add to that IS ... "I put my money where my mouth is" ... And with a custom order that I placed on 7/4 still "Processing", I also bought a DNA20 that was In Stock. I purchased it the same day I finally got an email response from BBM (email 8/14 & website purchase 8/14) answering an email I'd sent a month prior. I was told 8/14 that my custom Mini would be shipped in "the next few days". With that thought in mind ... I purchased an In stock DNA20 from the website ... Sent an email saying it would be fine to ship them together. No answer. "Shipped" email notification came for the website DNA 20 last Monday 8/19 with no tracking numbers. When my package hadn't arrived by last Thursday, I sent an email to BBM requesting tracking numbers ... AND my custom Mini still says "Processing" ... Was it also shipped? No answer. So I don't know whether I'm getting my custom Mini AND the DNA20 ... Or just the DNA20 website purchase. During this process I've only emailed twice ... It took a month to get an answer. I was fully prepared to wait for a custom box even though the website states 3-4 weeks. If it is going to take 2 months or more then just state that. Like I've said ... People understand and are patient if the are COMMUNICATED the facts. There's no reason that I can think of for NOT providing tracking numbers! There's no reason for not taking 5 minutes at least once a week to communicate on your own thread. Emails from customers who have already paid for your product are important and if nothing else should be answered within 3 or 4 days time! I've bought mods from other ECF suppliers who are equally slammed and my PM's are answered within a day if not the same day. I guess the thing that has concerned me the most with all this is before I placed my order I had several questions ... I emailed BBM and got an answer within an hour! There were several emails back and forth that day ... I was impressed with the customer service and placed my order. Since that time there's been only one email from BBM ... Other than the "Shipped" email. Like others ... I LOVE the mods!! BUT Customer Service during ... AND MOST OF ALL AFTER a purchase is VERY IMPORTANT to me ... And I think to everybody! If you can't contact ... you can't get service! When communication here on this thread, and emails, and when trying to reach by phone is not good ... Well THIS is what happens. Very sad!

My BBM package did NOT come again today. I have no clue what's going on ... Whether it shipped or didn't. I'm perfectly willing to wait ... Have been from the start ... But communicate to me about what's going on and tracking numbers! Not too much to ask I don't think. AND one last thought (then I'll not rant further) ... YES, I have noticed boxes being added to the website more and more ... If these are being cranked out for the website ... Then I'm not really totally understanding the "backlog" of custom orders that have already been paid for being delayed for so long! ???
