Outstanding, well written and so informative. I've bookmarked it and will read it again and again. She really tells it like it is and I want to learn to verbally express those facts to the naysayers and non-smokers and smokers alike who meet me on my path at every turn. I'm interested to know if Mrs. Nix is a member of ECF yet. I hope so.

It's a long read but WOW is it worth the time it takes to read it. You will definitely walk away with a lot of information and insight. Thank you Mrs. Nix for this wonderful contribution. I nominate that it gets posted into the ECF Library for safe keeping and easy access to the many who could benefit from reading it.

This second argument against electronic cigarettes that pretends we have so little information about them that they might be as harmful or even more harmful than cigarettes is asinine on its face. It is the product of cowardice from medical authorities who fear repercussions from our litigious society and deception from interested corporate and government interests who don’t wish to see their bottom lines affected. The ingredients in e-juice are all FDA-approved, and the atomizer method of administering drugs to the body is FDA-approved. The idea that these ingredients and these atomizers will suddenly start making people drop like flies because the particular configuration of them in an e-cigarette hasn’t been graced with FDA approval is just plain stupid. Like I said at the beginning, I cannot believe I actually had to address all this because the truth of it is already absolutely plain to anyone who comes to the subject without an agenda.

WOW, ROFL. That was just a brilliant statement! The ingredients PG, atomizing drugs to the body are already FDA approved. Next they're going to tell us we'll drop like flies because the flavoring is unregulated. Good grief.

A very well written piece of information on the the electronic cigarette, which i think should be renamed the "digital cigarette".I compare the electronic cigarette to the MP3/DVD and the anologe cigarette the vinyl record. This blog article should also be sent into the FDA and the Govt.

I took a day of vacation to watch the FDA testimony. What I have found out is 3 things:

1. The word "combustibles" to refer to cigarettes, cigars, etc is VERY EFFECTIVE in showing people our legitimate viewpoint.

2. The phrase "electronic cigarettes" is too heavily-used to be stopped. As Kristin put it in an answer to me on the campagining forum, "That ship has already sailed."

3. We need something as good as Mrs. Nix's blog but hella shorter.
