Busy, Busy day. I went to granny's house to take her dogs to the vet for their annual exam. Then back to her house to pick up the list for Ollie's and Food Depot. Went there and then helped her balance her checkbook. Left there any took Morgan to an appointment. After that went to the local B&M for Aspire coils and a new Twist. It poured buckets all the way home. Thankfully hubby and Alex did all the dog food before I got here so I managed to get out of it this go around. Hubby and I are sitting and doing nothing for a while and then dinner. Granny sent home some salmon patties so hubby and the kids will eat that. I guess it's another salad night for me.

I am sooooooo sleepy. I rearranged my med combo this morning but around 1 I was back to drowsy and my granny said I'm slurring my words. I have a feeling this med regimen is not gonna work for me. The bad part is I have no clue which one of the 4 new ones (he took 4 away also) to sleep.

Um, yeah Tiff, something needs a bit of adjustment. I hope you get it figured out shortly. :)

I have to call something tomorrow about something for one of the kids (they have the same doc). I'll definitely be asking if he can look at my med regimen and see what is going on, cut some out something. I just can't go on feeling like I have a hangover all day.

Shrek keeps scratching the side of his face do I just taped a sock on each back food and he is not looking terribly happy about it. Maybe this way he won't scratch off the medicine I put on it.

Mornin' all.

I need a reset for today...

So, last night, I took Mrs E out on the bike for her first ever motorcycle ride. She enjoyed it, but it was...less than relaxing for me. Even after telling her to sit still unless I have both feet down, she wiggled. A lot. While on the road, she did good leaning with me and looking over the correct shoulder, but at slower speeds, it felt like she was fighting to stay upright, like she felt the bike was about to fall over, and kept trying to compensate instead of letting me handle the bike. It made things kinda really uncomfortable in the parking lot. I know its just going to take some getting used to for both of us, but its gonna be rough in the meantime! The important thing is, is that I didnt scare the bejeezus out of her and she did have fun.

With the weather going to be so wonderful today, I was going to ride in this morning. Unfortunately, thats not quite how it worked out. I started my day by dropping everything I picked up. I somehow managed to drop my protein shaker cup on the desk, cooler, chair, then floor, nearly catching it every time but failing miserably. I dropped two bottles of water. One of my ice packs had a crack in it, so it was leaking that goo. While in the kitchen, I stepped next to the dog's water bowl... Charli apparently slopped water out of it, which left my socks a squishy mess. I got a new pair out of the drawer and ended up dropping those too. I had to open a new canister of protein shake mix, dropped the lid. Couldnt find the scoop in it. Found it. Dropped that too. Finally managed to get everything loaded into my backpack. Got all my gear on. Got out to the garage. Got on the bike, it wouldnt start. I reached down to the petcock (kinda like a fuel valve) to prime the carburetors, only to find that the lever had fallen off, probably on the short ride last night. So I had to go back inside, unpack my backpack, strip down and change clothes, repack my lunch and drinks into my cooler, and got in the car to come in. Made it about half way to work before I realized I forgot my cell phone. It's probably still sitting on my desk next to my motorcycle keys. Mrs E has too much to get done this morning, so I cant ask her to bring it to me. I get to work and I see that my computer has been migrated to the new network. FINALLY something went right. Oh wait, no it didnt. I can no longer access the warehouse security camera system. Oh, and my email... The only GOOD thing that's happened so far today, is that Douche Canoe also had his computer migrated last night, but it's left him unable to log on, which means that the meeting I was to have with him at 7am has been postponed. Now I get to hunt down a website that might have a petcock lever for a 22 year old bike.

James, you're braver than I am! If I had a morning full of all that dropping, I would have chosen to take the car over the bike! Sorry you couldn't ride to work, but maybe it was really for the best?? ;)
Yeah, your probably right. Dropping a plastic cup isnt too bad. But dropping the bike is one experience I hope to never have to live with again.

That reminds me... Anyone know of anyone wanting to by a relatively cheap street bike? I'm thinking I want a Yamaha YZF-R6.

Good morning. Tiff what happened to your glasses? Still Leary of ordering on line.

Drott's dog shack on the move.

the glasses are fine and I even took them in to the local Vision Works to make sure the prescription was what it was supposed to be. It was which means my eyes are messed. I just got new glasses and exam a few months and all of a sudden I can't see squat up close. It's just one long blurry line. Waiting on doctor results to make sure I don't have any signs of diabetes. If all in that arena are ok then I have to go back to the eye doctor and get a new prescription.

Work was crazy today moving into the other part of the shop and trying to find everything we need. I did a shih tzu that was matted but of course the owner insisted it wasn't. I told her she had two options. One, let me cut it close and start over, or do nothing. She said cut it close, just not real close. I cut it the way it needed to be cut. She was fretting over the ears staying like they were, but again they were also matted, along with the top of the tail she insisted be left long. I told her the same thing. The entire dog is matted and needs to get cut down close. She was not happy and in a very irritated voice told me to do whatever I have to. People are irritating! The other dog I did, a pomeranian, was awesome.

Hubby is still working on organizing his tool chest and also hanging some shelves in the garage, or what's left of it. Like most days I'm harping on the kids to finish their chores. I hate it when they take all day to do it. Guess you could call me a nag about that. I just hate the disorganized feel of stuff not where it goes.

Well that's good in a way. People are coming back to you instead competition.

Hubby is in the middle of cleaning the garage. I went out there and he'd loaded stuff in the trunk. Ummm, some of that mine. He said I haven't uesed it for years so why hang on to it. He made a good point. Unless it's items to save for the kids when they get older.
