Tupperware or Avon?

I'd go with Tupperware, only because it's much more useful than Avon. Coming from a person that has held umpteen Tupperware parties back in the day. And it's all still in use! ( I used to do Avon too, MUCH harder!!)

I like the dress! I don't wear dresses much, but I think it's "public worthy"! :)

The lunch thing - my BFF Barb used to do this. We'd go on a bike ride and she'd stop at a place that was pretty much out of my price range. It was always good food, but I'd feel guilty for spending so much. Looking back on it, I should have just relaxed and enjoyed it, since like FV said, you don't do them often. :)

I will wear a reserved dress to a wedding, and I will wear a very reserved dress to a funeral. Other than that, I am in jeans and boots. That includes going to church. The old ladies can cluck about it, but I don't think what I am wearing is the point.

I have a patch on my biker vest that says "These are my church clothes" :p

And I think I have maybe 2 or 3 dresses, one suitable for funerals. It's the shoes that I might not have...

I have a facepalm story from work today. :) I was back at the supervisor's desk getting them to look up tracking for a customer, and they got a phone call from another customer, so I got handed the phone. The lady was at the Lancaster PO, and had a money order of about $250 that was made out for the wrong amount, and she needed to cash it and get one with the right amount. Lancaster PO told her they didn't have enough money to cash it, and she wanted to know if we did. I'm glad she couldn't see my face. I asked to speak to the clerk, who I then told to sell the new money order first in the transaction, THEN cash the incorrect one - you don't need any freaking cash if you do that! She was going to have the poor woman drive about 60 miles!

Good morning.

Last night wasn't as bad as I thought. There were only 9 people. I ended up eating a grilled chicken salad and it was good. Got some good pics of me and my sisters together. Everyone else went out to a bar afterwards. I came home. Had no interest in going to the bar plus I had to drive an hour back home. The only downside was that I got boxed in in the parking lot. I was boxed in between the building and the other row of cars. As soon as I parked then someone came and parked in the spot that is supposed to be used for turning up and down an isle. The other end of the row there was a dumba with a trailer attached to his truck and he was parked crooked in the space making it next to impossible to get a car through to turn around. My bil came ended up getting my car through the tiny space that had maybe 6 inches on either side to spare.

Today is clean up the house day. Surprising huh? I think hubby is taking Alex out to drive.

I want to see the embroidery project when you finish.

Since I finished my skirt I need to work on the heated neck wraps for the etsy store. And now that I have a gathering foot I found another project to work on. And I need to make some more candles with spring and summer scents. I think the neck wraps come first since I only have one left. I also need to work on organizing some of my craft supplies in the under the bed box. The list goes on.

Bread is done and being munched on. One batch of beans is done. I'm working on the embroidery project right now. I hate multi-hooping on lettering. ugh.

I'll take a pic of the finished project when I take it over to the work hut. That way I can spread it out for a decent pic. It's big.

I hate the double hooping too. I never can get it lined up right.
