I went to grannys to do some stuff for her and while I was there she pulled out a big storage box full of size 12 jeans and some really cute shirts. Undoubtedly my sister was getting rid of them a while and granny took them instead. I tried to tell granny there was no way my behind was going to be able to squeeze in to a size 12. I gave it a shot and OMG, they came all the way up and even buttoned withoout laying on the bed and sucking my stomach in. I can't tell you the last time I could wear 12's. I'm not even going to say what size I started with but 88 pounds makes quite a difference. 12 more pounds and I'll be at my goal weight.

Hubby and Alex went to open the account for ssi. The account will only be used for that and hubby is the custodian account holder because they deemed Alex no able to handle his own money. I asked hubby if he wanted to me to take care of the organization of all the paperwork, receipts, bank statements, etc. He told me what he had in mind and he said not to worry about because he's going to take care of it all. Shew! What a relief because I was not looking forward to it. We have to keep meticulous records of how the money is spent, keep receipts, bank statements, etc. I dodged a bullet with that one.

If I see it again I wi ll gently let her know that it is my personal items and please ask me when you need to use it. As far as my clippers dropping, that makes me shiver.
Dropping my scissors is not good at all. Usually when they drop they end up getting a nik on the blades and they won't work properly. They'll just fold the hair, not scissor. I'm wondering when she comes tomorrow if she'll go straight to my station. My table is the best one we have at the shop but I paid for that table. It wasn't cheap. My dryer is there for me to use when I need it. I don't mind someone else using it but please ask first. That dryer is also very expensive. Someone would be buying me a new dryer at the tune of about $250. Thankfully she's on a 2 week trial and also to see if we have enough business to make it worth it for her. She lives over an hour away. I don't any more changes to the shop either. Yes, I'm testy. My fear is that after the two weeks she'll decide she likes the work of the other groomer and kick me to the curb. I'm an independent contractor, not an employee.

Be polite but firm. Tell her that those items are your personal items that you paid for. Point to the station that she is supposed to use. And don't worry about your job, really.

Sounds perfect! Thanks!

Hubby and I just spent 20 minutes on Shrek's ears. I go in there a gave it a good cleaning and then rubbed on some anti fungal cream and an antiseptic wash. It took hubby holding on to him but we got it done. We'll do another go around tomorrow and for the next several nights. Poor Shrek, he knew I was going to do something because I walked in the room with a handful of cotton balls. He made it halfway down the hall before I got him. I was going to trim his nails but he wasn't happy about the ears so I didn't want to bug him anymore tonight.
