Morgans "boyfriend" (Geo) gave her a promise ring today.   Geesh, I'm not enjoying this hormonal teenage girl phase we're now in. She is only 14. Having a so called boyfriend is'n't my issue. It's that she has asked if he could come over, if us and his parents could meet. Hubby was less than amused and in no way thought it was cute. Hubby told her that she better not ask or think about asking to do anything with a boy until she's at least 16 and then we'll reevaluate. Can you make them hibernate and wake up when they're about 25?

House duck..

Work was adventurous today. Two dogs, one pomeranian and a small terror mix (terrier). The lady with the pom brought him in and showed me a pic of what she wanted. I looked at the dog, felt his hair, and said nope can't do it with this much undercoat. So the owner asked if I could deshed it and then do the cut. It could possibly be done that way but I would be charging about $20 to $25 more just for dematting and deshedding on top of the $50 for the regular groom. Even trying for about 45 minutes to brush out this undercoat that was practically glued to the dog I gave up. Therefore I couldn't do the cut she wanted. I called her and explained this to her and she was very understanding. The terror mix left a bite shaped mark on my left hand and several near misses on the other hand. Once he was muzzled it was still a bit challenging. The owner was shocked he tried to lunge at my face and clamped down on my hand but the daughter was standing behind her shaking her head knowing the dog was a biter. It would have been nice to know that before hand. I did get at $10 tip from them though.

Other than that I'm home, about to do housework, and staying pizzed at Alex for ignoring me and his chore list. Time to go nag him about it again. Did I mention how much I am horribly dreading about talking to him tomorrow? I might possibly have to take a xanex before hand. I have printed the email with all the info on the work evaluation so hubby can read it and better understand what it involves and how much this is needed. He doesn't seem to be terribly concerned about it but then he will be fishing in the mountains for four days while I deal with this issue alone. :glare:

Thank you!!

I''m not going that far as half of me but I do want to lose about 5 or 10 more. Morgan says now we can share clothes. uUUUmmmm, I'm not so sure about that. It'll end up on her floor covered in whatever carp she has in nthere. She really wants the new boots I bought but she's not coming near them. But, it's a good Christmas idea.

Tiff, you look fantastic!

Boo hiss for outside and ot Drott. You need some r&r time.

The new duckie is in with my other two, she's learning to be a duck. The pond was terrifying, she watched the other two. Which of course would not get out until well after dark. Trying to find black ducks in the dark with a flashlight is a pain.

Good morning. I'm going to granny's today. I think I'm just giving the dogs a bath and taking her to run errands. The home health aid that comes in twice a week has been doing most of the cleaning. When I get home it will be time to talk to Alex. Ugh! Otherwise just a normal ol' day around here.
