House duck..
Work was adventurous today. Two dogs, one pomeranian and a small terror mix (terrier). The lady with the pom brought him in and showed me a pic of what she wanted. I looked at the dog, felt his hair, and said nope can't do it with this much undercoat. So the owner asked if I could deshed it and then do the cut. It could possibly be done that way but I would be charging about $20 to $25 more just for dematting and deshedding on top of the $50 for the regular groom. Even trying for about 45 minutes to brush out this undercoat that was practically glued to the dog I gave up. Therefore I couldn't do the cut she wanted. I called her and explained this to her and she was very understanding. The terror mix left a bite shaped mark on my left hand and several near misses on the other hand. Once he was muzzled it was still a bit challenging. The owner was shocked he tried to lunge at my face and clamped down on my hand but the daughter was standing behind her shaking her head knowing the dog was a biter. It would have been nice to know that before hand. I did get at $10 tip from them though.
Other than that I'm home, about to do housework, and staying pizzed at Alex for ignoring me and his chore list. Time to go nag him about it again. Did I mention how much I am horribly dreading about talking to him tomorrow? I might possibly have to take a xanex before hand.

I have printed the email with all the info on the work evaluation so hubby can read it and better understand what it involves and how much this is needed. He doesn't seem to be terribly concerned about it but then he will be fishing in the mountains for four days while I deal with this issue alone.
