Still sitting at work waiting on a dog to dry. I'd like to go home and hide while the kids are gone. Alex has called me saying he has a headache and wanting me to come get him. I told him no of course. As bad as it was this morning, I dont want to go get him. I haven't recooperated yet.

Finally home. With both kids. One of which is being quite helpful: Morgan..And one of which is wanting to argue and won't shut up since he got in the car when I picked him up this afternoon. Of course I'm wrong, he's right, he's trying to get me to admit I'm wrong, I'm telling him to shut up and leave me alone because I'm done with the conversation. But no, he insists on continuing over and over and over. I'm an inch away from taking Morgan and leaving. I can't live like this anymore when something doesn't go his way. Hubby's response when I talked to him earlier was he's sorry I had such a bad morning and he'd try to call tonight and talk to Alex. My nerves are SHOT to hill and back now. All I want is quiet and no harping and arguing. Is that too much to ask for from two kids that are plenty old enough. Actually just one of them is an issue right now.

Shhhhh.....one kid is asleep and the other one is in his room quietly entertaining himself on the computer. When I go to sleep tonight I will seriously be pizzed if one of them wakes me up to open a jar of pickles or to say Shrek needs to go out or waking me to find out what time I want to get up.

Howdy ho, folks.

Things here are...well...going. We're just about fully moved in with dad. Most of our stuff at the house has been boxed up and already moved to storage. We still have a long way to go though. Weather has been less than cooperative lately. Of course, it's gorgeous today, and I have no one here to help. Mrs E got called into work. I've done about all I can do on my own. Everything else are items that she has to deem where they go. If it were up to me, I would bag and/or box everything else and throw it in storage. BUT, I know better. And it always seems like when I do have help available, whether its Mrs E or my dad, something else is happening. It might be rain, church, softball, umpire, or basketball tryouts...Thankfully, we still have three more weekends to get it all taken care of.

So, in the short half hour before the kids got off the bus, I decided to hop on the bike for a really quick trip around the area. Less than three miles total. I found that she's developed an oil leak. There were a half a dozen drips on the garage floor and she smoked like a chimney once she got some heat built up. Once it burned off, she still ran fine, so that a bonus.

Time to get the little ones loaded up and go get the big one, get to dad's, cook dinner, change clothes, get Melanie into her uniform, the take her to her game, which I will also be umpiring, while Mrs E takes Kat and CJ to Kat's school for some kind of Fall sports banquet. Ungh. One of these days I MIGHT get to slow down. I swear I'm busier with no job than I was WITH a job.

Y'all have a good day. I'll check back in as soon as I get the chance.

@efirdj where is the leak coming from, any clue? Really strange for a bike to just start leaking like that (unless it's a Harley!)

My prize Billet Box has arrived!!! :):):) I must have misunderstood, I thought the panels would be brass, but it's just the button, the part the driptip goes into, and a bit on the inside. It's really a sweet looking BB though, and I will be getting pics up probably tomorrow. :)

I also got a package with a couple things for Ian and Mandy for Christmas. I picked up a couple of transparent box mods for less than $20 each (sorry, now back up over $50 :(). They are pretty neat!

Good morning. another day in the 70s sweet for November.

Agreed!! And I'll take all the mild weather quite happily! :)

Sure has been a long day. I'm happy to be sitting on my sofa recliner.

I totally forgot to get dog food on the way home. They have just enough for breakfast.

Morgan was invited to his parents for a couple of hours Saturday. I'm letting her go just because Geo's mom promised me they would be closely supervised. I just talked to her and she said definitely yes.

My brain hurts..
