I seriously have not gotten off the couch today except for something to drink or go to the bathroom. My get up and go got up and went without me.

No work tomorrow so I will try to get some things done around the house to keep my self busy. Both kids wil be gone during the day and hubby will be home in the morning. Hopefully the rain will stop at some point. My back yard is a massive mud hole.

So basically tomorrow I'll take Alex to be picked up for the work eval program. Four more days and it's finished. What comes net is beyond me but at least we are going in some sort of direction instead of standing stagnant for so long.

Hubby wants another St. Bernard when we can save up the money. I told him not right now. If he wants to save for it then by all means go ahead but please don't ask me to get another one right now.

I usually visit pinterest at least once a day. It's addicting and a huge time sucker. I've been doing some picking up around here this morning. I've got to go switch the dog bowls out. Right now we have the giant food and water bowl out but now with only the two little dogs it will take them a month to eat what's in the big bowl. I've got a set of small bowls I'll put out for them now.

No dogs for work today. It's been really slow lately. This weekend is the weekend hubby and I are going out of town. It's basically only costing us gas and food money since he won the two nights at the hotel, 2 free steak dinners at the hotel restaurant, and two city passes that will get us into all kinds of attractions in down town.

I'm just going to try to do some housework and work on my to do list today. I got zilch done yesterday. Tonight is weigh in. I changed my goal again. Now I am about 8 pounds away from it. Next week will be a bust with us going out of town but I should be able to do it by the end of the year. Then after the new year I can work on losing what I gained at Christmas. :laugh:

Good morning. Monday rolls around way too fast.

Yes, it most certainly does. I think my Monday will be somewhat ok. I had my share of a month of Mondays on Saturday night.

Weigh in tonight. Next weeks weigh in will be horrible I'm sure. I'm coming off of it to eat whatever the hill I want while we are gone.

I've already marked off five things on my to do list for today. Two to go but both are optional. One I is actually enjoyable to me. Browsing the internet to find a free printable Christmas organizer/planner. Last year I couldn't keep up very well so decided I need a planner to help me out.

Alex did good this morning when I dropped him off. He said that they told him on the first day that he'll probably end up with a job when the program is over. He wasn't too thrilled about that news. Too stinkin' bad. I don't know much of anything else they've been doing. Paperwork, visiting businesses and actually working at them for the day, learning how to fill out job apps, proper hygiene, and how to go through an interview. Not sure whats left but I do know and am thankful for him not saying another peep about not going since hubby talked to him the day that he pitched a fit. Whatever it was he sure straightened up.

Hey Drott, how's your hand healing?

Tiff, I'm so glad that Alex is doing well with the program! A job is exactly what he needs, so this is perfect for him right now. Way to go to Mr. Tiff for whatever he said to make it happen. You probably don't even want to know. :lol;

:laugh: You're right. I probably don't want to know. He just told me after he talked to him that I shouldn't have any more trouble from him. So far, so good.

The girls keep looking in the hole at their new coop. :lol: :lol: I keep telling them someday. The run for the old coop runs up against the new one. If I get lazy I might just cut a hole in the wire and tack it to the new coop door. Tempted winters coming. I'm at the point now that I need to tear the old coop and run down to put in the new run. The new run will be easy just an old dog pen that my sister left here when she found an apartment that left her have her husky. So it will just bolt together and I'll have to make a roof. For now will just get one of the ready made covers and put chicken wire on it before the tarp goes on. Later I'd like to go with a corrugated roof on the run. Doesn't look like much but the new coop and run gives them 3x more room. Rambling on here. :lol:

We were just talking about our favorite Shrek moments. Morgan's was when Shrek sat on Alex's head. Alex's was when Morgan used to crawl in the kennel with Shrek and go to sleep (it was a huge kennel). Mine was when I was baking a full sized sheet cake for a family reunion the next day. I put it on the counter getting it ready to ice. Turned my head for just a second and Shrek had taken a very substantial chunk out of the side of the cake. :laugh: It was salvageable but barely. I had to fill it in with icing. I told my sister and granny to not eat out of the back left corner. :laugh: Hubby's was when Shrek broke his toe. But he said his absolutely favorite was the fact that he kept my mom from coming over much. :lol: :lol: My mom is terrified of any dog larger than a cocker spaniel. Another good one was paying fetch with him in the house. He slid across the kitchen floor going for the ball but instead smacked right into the kitchen cabinet leaving a large crack. As a puppy he chewed a giant hole in the side of our sofa. He once pooped out a pair of Morgan's underwear. That could have been bad but when he did it and seeing he was ok was hilarious. He ate a whole stick off butter sitting on top of the counter. Did the same with a pizza. He ate about half of it. He knew our names. When we would tell him to go put Morgan to sleep he would get up and walk back to her room and lay on her bed with her. He was an awesome dog!!!

My duck run is a 10x10 dog kennel with a top on it. And a mud puddle in it of course. No amount of fill keeps it from having a puddle, so I give up. They like it. Right now duckies are out swimming, the new gal finally figured it out. I'm thinking it's a Rouen, not a Mallard. It's almost as big as the cayugas already.

Renting one would be fabulous Bamrz. Maybe someone should start a service like that. :lol:
